When can we expect you revert the aura changes?
The new aura is a bug, right? Or is this intendet to be this way? I really hope they change it back to normal, otherwise i have to buy a new, way bigger monitor (does it even help?) to see anything.
If this is not a bug then i am wondering why they mess with auras in first place. They were perfectly working for me. Now they are garbage.

This is gamebreaking for me and i am sure for many people aswell. When i littarly can not see the aura of a survivor in the distance because its 2x2 pixel next or on top of another 10x10 pixels with the same color, perks like BBQ are completly useless. How is this not top priority? Everyone has a 50inch monitor at home?

I just got Ormond three times in a row, the worst map for any killer right now. They have 1 week to fix it before I refuse to give them any more money.

Don’t hold your breath with these devs. The clowns at bhvr didn’t even bother to turn on a pc or console and test their update. (Or what is worse.... they turned it on and actually thought the auras looked good) either way, these devs are borderline bathesda quality.

I kinda like them. In the past, auras would blind me out with how strong they are. They need to help with the totems and smaller objects though. They need to give something for ppl who have visual impairments or colorblindness though.

As a survivor main, I relay on Dark Sense to see where the killer is when I'm on a gen or going to get a hooked survivor. It's a pain that I can't see the killer when it's one that doesn't have the cloaking capability.
Meanwhile on the topic of rescue... there were a few maps where I thought the killer had that perk that made us blind to each other as I couldn't see the hooked survivor from across the map.
It's super vexing.

But less, survivors are abusing OoO right now, since killers won't be able to tell the difference between a gen/totem/survivor.
If you mean for regular usage like bond, empathy etc, I can't say, I haven't used bond in a very long time.

I made a thread like 2 hours ago about that, it is hell, swf with OoO and no way to find out if they are watching you, 3 hours of constant midwich and OoO for me, this isn't funny and if I use strong stuff I know people will get mad.
OoO right now is dooming me since I can only play 1 killer that I'm good with, can't play trapper, can't play hag, can't play most of the killers I'm good with just Oni.

That's only half true. Killers need it to actually see generator auras. It's literally part of their ability to patrol gens.
Survivors can actually survive without it most of the time, especially if they are SWF.

Agreed. I'm a Rank 1 Solo Queue survivor. I was left on the hook twice and I run Kindred. At first I thought the team was being jerks and letting me one hook. But no, when someone else was hooked it's hard to judge how far they are or where exactly they are hooked. I played a few games to make sure I got back to Rank 1 and I plan to wait until the fix is released before playing again. I normally play daily for hours but will wait. It's not worth the frustration at this point.

I had to rotate my camera 2 or 3 times to find the pixel that was my teammate and make sure I was safe

Yes you're so right so many killer buffs that were awful for survivors waited so long to be fixed tbh I think killers are more of a priority than survs

Are you new to the game? Because it does sound like it, DS bug, instant fix in 4 days, nurse bugs, 2018-2020 and still there.
Imagine the nurse nerf being awful for survivors, imagine the billy nerf as well, imagine pig nerfs that for everything she got nerfed, imagine the week when oni was nerf so true, yeah killers get buffs for serious issues, toolboxes needed no brain at all to use now at least they do, insta heals, fair and balanced right? Old BNP, same fair and balanced, no infinites, are you that bad that you abused infinites? Old balanced landing, it was really broken on haddonfield.
So before you say stuff like that for killers see what was broken for survivors first 😉

Im pretty sure theyre testing the waters to see how much BBQ and chili drops off at ranks 10-15 so all the weak survivors can stop complaining about it. Then theyll bring it back but with a nerf to bbq because its overperforming

All they could do is enable a filter for themselves that makes the game look like it does for colorblind, modify anything that's necessary and then just add an option that alters the colours of the auras. It's not that hard.

Well I have a 32 inch and see them fine if I actually look, and not glance for bright spots... so I dont get what the fuss is about.
But if they're ACTUALLY invisible, that's no good.

I hope they'll take the chance and not just fix the auras, but add in a colorblind mode while they're at it. It'd go hand in hand.

Dead Dawg Saloon is just as worse, you cannot see auras for half the map.

I run kindred, and detectives hunch, and it's hard as hell to see now. Rank 1 as well. Luckily, I'm an experienced player with 3 years and a lot of hours in the game to help, but it's still difficult.

I am one of the colorblinds. Blood can´t be seen anywhere, and scrachtmarks only on indoor maps, and even gen auras are invisible on some maps (ormond being the worst).
And that was before the aura update. Now i cant even find traps as the Trapper, or my own hex totem. I don´t play killer at all at the moment.
As a survivor, i have a permanent third seal, But bound helps.

How is BBQ overperforming? Playing as both sides as a survivor I hop into a locker and as killer either the suriviors are close to me to save their teamate or they are in a locker. Very rarely would I get survivors who wouldn't hop into a locker. The only time BBQ can be great is if the survivors don't hide in a locker or if they do and your running Iron Maiden to make sure they don't hop into one or get a easy down if they are nearby. Besides that BBQ is just a way to get BP fast.

Oddly enough, I dunno if I'm seeing things right by on Xbox One I now see auras abit brighter. I just got through a game. I use aura reading perks like A Nurse's Calling and Deerstalker. They were significantly brighter readings than yesterday 🤷♂️🤔

You don't have to be sorry, if anything I am for not catching on. I didn't mean to come off as an elitist survivor who thinks it's "broken" but then uses it on killer. Since there's too many people like that on DbD. 😆
