Okay, so I play mostly survivor. Cause I suck at killer.

Now, with new tome I wanted to do some Archive challenges.

However, the new matchmaking on Xbox is madness.

I'm rank 17 (for a reason) going against rank 1 and 2.

Sure, matches are now found faster. And matches also end faster with me losing sky high.

And it's the same the other way around. The other day I was in a match (as a rank 2 survivor) with a rank 1 killer and 3 survivors between rank 17 and 20.

That was a fun match.

I get it, matchmaking needs to happen faster, but this cannot be the solution.

    Ranks are no longer used for matchmaking purposes with the MMR system and instead just a measure of your playtime.

    It's possible that their MMR hadn't settled yet and so were placed against you, or your MMR hadn't settled yet and so the system is testing your skill.

    I know ranks are not used anymore. That is the issue.

    And my playtime as survivor says nothing about my skills as killer.

    Are you even sure there is a new system? For me it seems like I'm just being matched with whomever.

    The system looks for my rank, no one available after 3 minutes and goes to higher ranks.

    I doubt there is a smart system checking my skills. 😂
