My Killer "difficulty to learn" tier list
![A_Can_Of_Air](https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/avatarstock/nHOJSPPDAIJEI.png)
This list is based on the difficulty of learning the Killer, not mastery. Left to right is the hardest to the easiest in each tier.
A mastery list would consist of a few shuffles, but a Killer like nurse would of course, remain unchanged,
Feel free to adjust the positions if you think any of them are out of place.

Yeah I completely agree

inb4 "just use headphones on spirit 4head" posts.
Also I mostly agree except id move Billy and Doctor up one level.

Oni being below Spirit is extremely debatable

Oni is pretty damn hard to learn on console imo

What is difficult about Hag? She is basically an m1 killer that places traps and can teleport if survivors step on them.

No. There is so much to her power, and she plays different than every other killer. There are so many different types of traps, and you have to master the camera flick, which is hard. You should see some of the grandmaster traps, like the high ground trap, that barely any player knows how to use.

hag is very hard? what is very hard about hag? putting traps?
i wish i could understand how throwing bottle clown is harder than oni
deathslinger is easy to play and comfortable
what is hard about ghost face?
idk may be its me but oni was the most difficult to learn and hag was virtually the easiest
you just put traps with applying a little bit a brain and thats it
oni sucks in early game and depends on random and good tracking

I'm trying to figure out how you put spirit at hard just have a good headset and basic killer knowledge.

Look at what I said above, and you'll see why hag is hard.

Personally I think new Bubba is mechanically more difficult to play than most other killers in the game (objectively - not subjectively!) because factually you have to be able to go around loops without bumping into stuff (the new tantrum can cost you the game if you bump into something at your 3rd charge) while timing your charges (not too early because you need your range and not too late neither as it stops the chainsaw).
You have to keep an eye on your tantrum meter as well if you want to mindgame survivors around pallets and you have to be patient and keep an eye on your charges before using the chainsaw as 2 charges may not be sufficient in range depending on where the survivor goes during the chainsaw attack.
Just my opinion from a mechanical point of view.

She has a very high skill cap. There's always something to learn with her, and when you get good with her, there's a lot you can do with her, unlike someone like ghostface or spirit.

What's your definition of learning versus mastering?
3 -
Billy is easy to *pick up*. Not easy to learn. To learn is to master, and he isn't mastered by many. 80% of Billy players are proof of that.

I'd actually put Pyramid Head below Doctor. To learn him only you need three things:
- Having played survivor
- Basic M1 killer skills (like mindgaming)
- The tip to not break most pallets.

I'd bring Ghost Face and Spirit down to moderate, move michael up to hard, and move trapper up to very hard..
2 -
I'd move pig up a bit. Using her dash properly takes some practice and most pigs I come across use it badly or not at all.

Thank you teacher!

There's a lot that goes into being a good Hag.
Killer shack for example. Beginner hags put the trap right next to the pallet and get stunned by quick survivors. Intermediate Hags put the trap between the window and the pallet, but this doesn't deny the survivor either option if they are quick about regaining camera control. Advanced Hags put the trap at the entrace to shack opposite the pallet, but offset it from the doorway so the survivor momentarily runs into the wall and stops their momentum when they step on it.
Another example is the basement. Beginners just stick the trap on the stairs. Advanced Hags tuck it in the blind corner next to the nearside hook at the bottom of the stairs so you can't see it even if you're looking for it.
On Midwich, the traps can be hidden under many piles of rubble.
As a Hag, you pretty much learn every map from a Hag-specific POV if you want to play her at a high level.

Spirit hard? Lmao.
2 -
Pretty good though I'd put doc up a bit..mastering doc is harder than people think
0 -
Oni's harder
Legion's easier
0 -
Yeah, no. I saw Billy in easy and ignored the rest. Do you know how often a new player bumps into trees and rocks and other BS? Accidentally starting the chainsaw when they meant to just rev it? and the flick at the end?
0 -
Clown would be dead last on the list imo. There's is very little to learn there.
2 -
hag should definitely be lowered
0 -
Exactly and with the overheat hes ahrd, literally I can't play Billy, after what 7 months of playing this game he is just that bad. While Bubba is a bit easier
0 -
Not true. They don't place traps in the same location and you never really chase as Hag. Anyone who disagrees doesn't know how to play her.
0 -
that's more of a mastery thing, and op said it's not based on mastery, when you first get hag she isnt hard to play and never will be. yeah maybe mastery aspects are but hag herself is just ooo place trap for survivor to step on
1 -
The spirit is easy, any moderate killer needs to learn how to play mind games, she doesn't need that, just stay still.
3 -
fixed

Freddy? Hard? Ok then.

Excuse me, I believe freddy slipped from easy to hard in a weird mistake of yours.
Ghostface/Myers should go over to moderate to say the least
And Oni is definitely between hard or moderate, can't quite decide, but more likely hard.
1 -
i might not have enough experiance with freddy to say but my 3 games with him he seemed pretty hard as for myers and ghostface no. staling is the easiest mechanic to grasp killers that rely on it are easy to play
0 -
i'll admit i have played him too much (<5 games) but it seemed pretty hard
0 -
I think Trapper should at least be hard. You've gotta have a pretty big brain to play Trapper effectively ngl.
2 -
Right, sorry, I meant you don't chase away from your traps. My B.
0 -
Myers is hard how? He’s one of the easiest killers to pick up. His power is literally staring at survivors and getting a one shot.
0 -
I guess, I saw him more as starting at a disadvantage and knowing when to use tier 3. I could see why hes moderate though.
