Stop shaming people for buying cosmetics that they enjoy. You don't have to agree with what bhvr does, but if someone wants to buy a skin that they enjoy...leave them alone about it. Their purchase doesn't effect you in any way.
Don't let anyone discourage you from buying cosmetics that you enjoy.

Well although I agree 100% that shaming is terrible I also 100% disaggre that it does not effect me or every other person!
The devs started selling skins for 10€ that is already more expensive thanan average dlc, If back then everyone boycotted the price to a reasonable one like 5€ per skin then it would be fine.
But now they wanting 15€ for a skin. If everyone will still buy it, they will ask for 20€ in one year. They are selling something of a quality a skyrim modder does FAR FAR better for NO MONEY at all. So there is no reason to sell it at that price.

I don't see why people get mad over cosmetics? If it was an ingame advantage, sure. But there's plenty of really good cosmetics released that are shards only, and people paying for skins keep the free skins coming.

the classic ghost face outfit and default mask actually got me some compliments afew games back where i managed to blend in with my crouching so well i got up next to a guy on a gen, he thought i was a survivor till i grabbed him, scared the lot of them pretty well, they loved it, got a 3k but had to sweat for it.
people just like to find a reason to hate you, if you stomped hard and have a fancy skin they will assume your a tryhard in the wrong ranks or in the case of spirit/nurse a no lifer.

That doesn't really happen anymore. The point of this thread is mainly about the forums. Players are constantly on here shaming and punishing people for spending their money on what they please. Lisa is the best example of this tho.

I guess you don't realize; people buying those skins keeps the art team busy and pumping out free skins too. So you benefit from it either way. If you don't like the price don't buy it. It has little to no impact on your game whatsoever.

i'v been on that side with the PH cosmetic, i loved the design but i suck at him, got flak for wasting money, like i care about money im sat on over 2 grand as pocket change in most cases so i dont really care about 7.50 munny

I am not interested in explaining you how marketing works and I already told you that people do that stuff for other games like Skyrim, Fallout etc. in much better quality and dont ask for money at all. I'm not so sure that wanting to make a statement against what a company is doing is necessarily "shoving your nose in other peoples' business" when the choices the company makes will affect them too...
I'm not even somebody who tunnels people with whatever certain cosmetics (unless they make themselves really obvious and bright with them.) I just think if people want to play a certain way, even if that's tunneling somebody with a certain cosmetic, then it seems more like shoving your nose into somebody's business telling them to stop. Or at least it's just as much of that as them tunneling somebody with a certain cosmetic.

Nope. I refuse to save, heal or be on the same gen as anyone who buys the rip off stuff. If I played killer more id also be tunneling and face camping away.
By buying these cosmetics you're incentivizing BHVR into focusing more on similar forms of monetization and the more you use them the more you're advertising these cosmetics for BHVR.
