Why does the survivor version of BBQ(WGLF) do nothing but bloodpoints?
When Actual BBQ shows auras of survivors and awards the same amount of bloodpoints? BBQ provides benifits and bloodponts, WGLF only provides bloodpoints.
Granted atm all Aura perks are useless, but that will be fixed and I still want to know why.

honestly though, Id love to see it have more of use. But also, that could run the issue of MAJOR stacking of perk uses. Something along the lines of everyone sees your aura when you take a protection hit would be a nice change

It encourages you to play well by rewarding you for protection hits and safe hook rescues.

BBQ encourages you to play well and hook all players at least once, but still provides further benifit

Even something small like that would be nice. They just aren't equal like they're supposed to be right now

I dont think they need to be equal on what they give, as I mean it would be way to easy to just use survivor to get BP (( as you can get around 5 games in an hour if even that)) I just think that it shouldnt really be taking up a perk slot if it just does that.

They don't need to be perfectly equal but the fact bbq provides more than blood points and WGLF doesn't seems weird considering they're supposed to be the same perk for either side. It's a bit more than it just being a bit unequal

You can consitantly get WGLF, but you would have to build around it. Plus BBQ is for playing the game, and so is WGLF, one just happens to be easily to make obtainable than the other. if BBQ was via hits, it would be to easy to get, if WGLF was with heals / generators it would beto easy to get, so it tries to tak ethe middle ground by giving 2 options
An easy change would be to ad protection hits give 2 stacks instead of 1.

Honestly with how big of a grind this game is in general, they should just double blood point gains as a whole base and make the extra BP perks a 50% boost. That way its uo to 64k a match, up to 86k with bbq or wglf. Im a fresh account on steam, 200 hours in now, and only 4 level 50 killers and 2 level 50 survivors, and about half of the teachables in the game at my disposal. After 200 HOURS. I played on ps4 so im cool with the grind I respect it. But any new player wanting to play is in for it.

Wglf encourages you to hookbomb with bt and get downed taking unnecessary protection hits for teammates...

BBQ had the aura ability put in to encourage people to not stay near the hook but instead go out and chase other people. It was designed with the intent to cut down on staying near the hook. However because of how many ways there are to hide your aura it doesn't really do anything. The majority of the time you won't see any auras and either you will think they are nearby or you will just use the perk for the BP.
As for any possible "effect" that could be added to WGLF just remember that whatever you add has the potential to be multiplied by 4 (or 4+ if you're SWF)

I wish WGLF did more but honestly with the aura changes BBQ is now like WGLF in that it doesn't have another effect so there's that i guess?

They dont need to be equal at all. 4 survivors 1 killer. If all the perks were equal strength, then the 16 survivor perks would be too unfair for killers 4 perks to deal with

The joke there was is that this was the secret BBQ shadow nerf by making it like WGLF.
Also no on Ormond it does nothing, as well as does nothing for anyone who is colourblind.

TBF, you also get WGLF for free vs BBQ, but it would be nice if they combined it with We're going to make.

That's literally what every David and Dwight does who is running that perk (idk why but it always seems to be a David or Dwight running WGLF)

Except we're asking for something small like an aura read or a temporary healing boost. A SWF group doesn't really benefit much from an aura, and a short healing speed boost is "meh" in solo or SWF

Agreed. It should be for protection hits and unhooks like it is now, but also any heal that improves their health state. From downed to injured, and from injured to healthy.

Tbh it would be cool if it worked exactly like bbq, so when we unhook we get a stack and get to see where the killer is.. I feel like they should have perks that do the exact same thing but with roles reversed it could be intresting..

It used to give 200% bp. I assume that coupled with it predates Bbq is why they didn't give it another effect. That said it would be nice if it gave you some use. Honestly I feel like Babysitter should have been what was added to WGLF.

Actually a short healing speed boost isn't "meh" because (once again) SWF.
I really don't care what BHVR adds, I was just explaining why the aura exist on BBQ and then added why I believe WGLF doesn't have another effect.

Because it's one of David's perks. He's designed to be a hard mode character to challenge yourself with. So all this perk does is gives you extra points without helping. Then he has no mither, which is an outright downside. Then there's dead hard, which is great, but is nullified if you have no mither on.

Fun fact: WGLF use to grant 200% BPs :D That's why it did nothing else. Then Survivors would literally kill each other over BPs without BT or a care in the world as long as they got their stacks. I'm talking unhook in front of the killer without BT twice, sandbag other survivors and even point survivors out for a stack. It was chaos. This was before safe unhooks was a thing. That's why its so lackluster. You'd get so much more BPs than killer for a weaker version of BBQ but Survivor's decimated it.
