Survivors shouldn't be punished for rage quitting players

For each player that disconnects there should be one less generator to complete. Expecting three or less players to complete five generators practically guarantees a victory for the Killer.

I hopped into a solo survivor match tonight where two other survivors immediately rage quit upon being downed by Bubba's chainsaw. It left me and the other survivor to fend for ourselves and finish five generators. I shouldn't have to point out just how absurd that expectation is.

That would lead to tactical disconnecting in 3 gen situations for the last 2 or 3 survivors to escape.

    SWF would abuse it.

1 gen left all 4 are alive but oh no one of them is about to get hooked for the third time better disconnect quickly just before the killer gets to the hook while the teammates are already waiting at the gate so the last gen gets popped instantly while the killer loses a sacrifice hook AND has little chance to get to the gate in time.

Swf would be able to exploit this. All they would have to do is get a certain ammount of gens done, into a three gen situation. Then one dcs and boom exit gates are powered. Also what about the killer suffering? If survivors get a whole gen done from one dc then killers need to recieve score towards hooking a survivor three times. The majority of the time if one or more survivors dc, the best that killer can hope for is a black pip.

When I have more than one early game DC I offer to farm or just go afk for a little bit until more gens get done to even the playing field a little bit because I know how much it sucks playing as Survivor and having a DC and the killer just try hards to move in to the next match instead of just relaxing and getting some extra BPs.

If more players on both sides just relaxed a little there would probably be a lot less DCs and more than likely likely a lot less toxicity in this game.

No that shouldnt be implemented. That's why there are hatches. Thats just not a common thing in most matches so it shouldnt be treated as such. If people are disconnecting then you just need to deal with it.

Unfortunately this is the nature of the solo-queue and it does even hurt the killer, as they have now lost a large chunk of Malicious, Devout and Chaser. The only thing that you can do in that situation is to try and get as much generator work done as possible to safety pip and hope that the killer is somewhat merciful and will farm a little bit with you and the other survivor so that the rest of you don't de-pip.

As others have explained as well, there would be much abuse with SWF groups in order to get out way easier or even randoms together who have 3-gen'd themselves in order to purposefully screw over a killer.

I'd rather see the Black Pip requirements lowered in games where a DC occurs, so that nobody is REWARDED for somebody leaving the game.

You shouldn't reward players for someone DCing cause that would cause more DCing

    Kinda like DC for hatch

If anything it's good that a match with a DC makes you feel miserable.

That means that if your not a douchebag you're less likely to DC as wel in the future
