Depends on what i did. If it is justified i appologise like every human with some manner.
If it is completly unjustified i may ask why they come to that solution and if it is nonsense i give them maybe a "lol" and leave.

This. Replying in anything else is pretty much lowering yourself to their level. Just GG and move on to the next game. I've got zero time for players who want to ######### and moan over every little thing they hate in the game. I'm here for my own enjoyment, not anyone elses.

I ignore them. Although if they write a long essay about how terrible I am, I usually type "cry me a river lol", which is usually followed by more crying.

If its short like "you're trash" or only won because map/killer/perks/my team is trash, I ignore it, but if it's long I send nice essay.

Usually just a gg, ignore them, or get a conversation going (not an argument but rather trying to see why they find such so strong.

I tried to argue with them. Doesn't work somehow. But my chat is now closed for 95% of the time.
This was a conversation (not word-for-word, but you get the idea) after a game where I got a 4k. 1 was dead, 1 was hooked, the other 2 tried the typical "I'm bait and the other goes for the save"- tactic, which didn't work and both went down. Gates were open.
"Why did you camp?"
"Exit Gates were open, why didn't you leave? You just fed me a 4k."
"Camper!"
"What else should I do, give you a free unhook?"
"You suck if you have to play this way. Camper!"

I turned my messages to friends only; got sick of the badly written bile that came my way. before that, I reponded politely if someone was whining and reported anyone who was using foul language, making threats or being very insulting - such as telling me I was a cancer on society - in spanish! If I report, I block.

I used to reply to hate messages then put messages on friends only.Believe me back then I wanted to use them as human bowling pins tie people up and throw the ball in their direction😀.

I had this rarley in my endgame chats. If it is not aggressive written, I try to show him that the gras is not greener on the other side. If he is aggressive I give him counter and leave the chat.
Besides that, my profile is private. So no other way to write me something^^.

It's always SWFers that whine so I make fun of them for losing while being in boosted, easy mode. Yesterday I played a match as Huntress on Haddonfield, just doing a daily. It was against a four man. There were two gens left. I had one player on the hook right in the middle of a strong 3-gen, two people hook bombing, and one person MIA that could be on a gen, but they were not on one of the ones I was defending. I stopped them from getting the save, then I killed the rest of them by chasing them to the other side of the map away from the gens since they all went that way. Cue incessant messages of "lol trash, rank 1 and camping" and I just laughed at them for losing on Haddonfield while being in a 4-man. That's embarrassing to lose with that stacked of an advantage

Just ignore them and move on to the next game. They complain whether they win or lose. I've gotten so used to their complaints and threats that I don't even actually care.

About the same thing I do when the killer whines to me about something. I try to give them advice on what they could have done better. If they are still all butt hurt, I just move on. Sometimes I move on anyways or just say gg.

Nothing. Anything derogatory i say in return makes me just as bad. If its particularly nasty, i simply report them, whichever side they are playing.

Depends on how mad they've made me. Sometimes I'll say gg then wait for a negative response then say, "You should try not dying. It does wonders lol." I leave afterwards but that's if they really got under my skin.

Usually I type gg and close chat faster before they can cry something or even have my chat closed, but sometimes when I really see salt (even in game) and I've stomped them, I type typical surv main ######### like "gg ez" "boring" "trash survivors" "uninstall" and so on. Say whatever you want, but it's so hilarious to see how another "[TOXIC] Duuderino" gets owned in game, wants to cry something in chat and gets shot with his own bullet.

I actually kinda like the second phrase. People need to wake up and realize it's a bloody PVP game. Your opponent is not supposed to give you an easy time.
Imagine playing another PVP game like COD and crying because other players wouldn't let you shoot them.
