Deliverance needs a rework
I know a lot of killer mains will disagree, but one thing that's boils my piss about deliverance is that you don't always get to use it, say you were the last person standing, someone on a hook already, as soon as you're hooked it will kill you both without giving you the chance to use it.
No matter the situation, if it has been activated you should get the chance to use it.
Even if it was activated after your first hook, you should still be able to, even if the chance of getting down is halfed or some #########.

The one reason I never used that perk is because the perk immediately dies if you are the first one hooked. That's all it takes to kill the perk. Being unlucky.
Not to mention you have to wait around the hook to get the save to activate your perk if someone else gets hooked first.

It Is a good perk when you're able to use it, i don't even care about being put into the broken state for 90 seconds after it, that's only fair IMO, but it becoming a dead perk is a waste.

People have wanted Deliverance to work when you are the last person to be hooked for ages but none of the people suggesting it seem to realise just how pointless it'd be. You're the last on the hook, the killer has no incentive to leave so you'll just unhook yourself and be downed immediately. It'd be very rare that you can somehow pull an escape in this situation.

It's a high risk, high reward perk and for that reason I think it's in a good spot.

It's called: "Balanced second Chance"

Jump off and dead hard past them I've done this. Or sometimes the killer with leave to find the hatch for deviousness i got away by deliverancing off a hook and running the killer chased me i dsed threw down a pallet and jumped into hatch. (The other survivor hadn't died on hook yet when i was hooked so i was able to attempt escape).

Dead hard, sprint burst, decisive strike, there are ways around it.

+ds +unbreakable + sould guard = profit

Well, I'm a killer main and it wouldn't bother me if they made it usable. It shouldn't work from second stage, though. That's the risk-reward. However, from personal experience it's a perk that did most damage against me when used as anti-momentum. So, instead of saving it for end-game, take aggro as soon as it's activated and profit.

Wow, Never thought I would see this day, a logical killer main, well played.

Deliverence needs a rework, not a straight-up buff, and it definitely doesn't need to be RNG.

Im sorry but this is silly. If youre the very last persin on hook youre getting facd camped, end if story. Theres literally ni point in going any where else. So 99.999% of the time youd unhook yourself and get downed immediately then were both going to stard at eachother for 60 secs because theres 0 reason for me to risk eating a ds. So the only thing your suggestiin would do is extend the game unnecessarily and after a few attempts you wont do it anhmore anyway because its pointless. Except now thd game is anticipating you using it so it doesnt kill you so now were just staring at eachother for a munute and im eating camp points because you want a one in a milliin chance of maybe possibly getting away with your perk.
No.

No, there isnt. Ill know if you have sb or dh, neither is going to help you, and im just going to assume you have ds so you wont get to use that either

At the very least it will give us both a bit more points

The smallest of peepees.
Youre still only going to make it 10 steps before youre back on the ground. If hatch was close enough for you to make it to wed hear it and already be walking to it to close it. All this does is lengthen the match unnecessarily. If youre the last survivor alive and youre in the hook you lost, accept that

Honestly, I really wish it allowed you to get off the hook even if it was your second hook.

Your comments are subjective, because there are killers out there it would work on, maybe not you, as you are claiming to be an unstoppable clairvoyant killing machine who knows what perks im going to be running ahead of time.

Or we can just get to the next game faster where theres more points waiting. And what you meant to say was "at most it will give us more points" because it would take an act of God for you to unhook yourself and then make it to hatch

I dont think it should synergize with DS at all

I will never understand people who use deliverance, it is one of those perks planned for failure. Also to use this skill, you depend on another survivor and personally, i find it unnecessary to be able to get off a hook when you are the last survivor, the chances of your escaping are very low.

It doesnt take clairvoyance. I just played an entire match with you, you think i dont know what exhaustion perk youre running? Every killer above 15 knows to memorize the players exhaustion perks. This scenario youve concoted will only work on one killer 1 time and then youve ruined it for every other survivor that killer comes across. And no, its not subjective. You will be face camped by every killer when youre the last one hooked. Theres literally nothing else for the killer to do. Unless youre going up against a complete noob that is, but if youre in this situation against a noob you deserve to die on hook anyway

Bro you're ignoring the Plagues, Legions, Spirits, etc., who run around getting their last minute points with their powers. It's optimal to stay and make sure nothing sus is going on with the last guy, but there are definitely killers who go around getting their last minute deviousness points. If it's a Doctor, sure you're screwed. Mans is gonna stand there shocking the air triumphantly. Clown will toss bottles at your hooked body and Michael Myers will stand there nodding. But nearly half of the roster has something better to do than just stand at the hook.
It IS situational, but not nonexistent.
OP, I disagree that Deliverance should be active on second hook. It's just a mid perk unfortunately

They do that now because the game takes like 10 seconds to end. They wint anymore if this change were implemented

You say these things as though you were an authority on killer etiquette, just because you personally would stand and watch the last survivor die on hook while you stroke your wee button mushroom through your y fronts doesn't mean all killers will.

I seem to remember a time where regardless of if you were the last survivor alive, on your 1st or 2nd hook, you could attempt to struggle off or get all of your struggle points. Killers definitely ran around getting their deviousness points then.
A Sweaty McSweat killer, or a killer who really wants that 4k, probably won't leave the hook. But a killer who wants the 4k won't close the hatch when they can't find the last Meg lying on the ground with good survivor sided RNG on the exit gate locations. It happens anyway.
Deliverance is a mid enough perk that I think it'd be fair enough if it overrode the "you are the last survivor hooked, you instantly die now even though you are on first hook". It's mostly pointless (because 9 times out of 10, the killer WILL just hang around staring at you) but I don't really think it takes away too much from the game except to make the survivor not feel like it was a complete waste of a perk slot. Does it not already do that now? I never run it so I really have no clue if it does or doesn't. I know I saw an Adam deliverance off the hook as the last survivor while my boyfriend was playing killer, but I can't remember if it was before or after the rather recent change to the game ending after the last survivor is hooked 🤔

The only changes that the perk needs is to:
Give a notification to all other survivors when delivarance is activated and you're on your first stage hook.
When Delivarance is activated and you're on your first hook stage, other survivors cannot unhook you.
Let's be honest, we all love unhooking ourselves from the hook 😈

It Is a good feeling, a lot of the time ill do it right in the killers face, even if they down me right afyer, that small act of defence makes it worth while.
And if they are going to slug me to avoid a DS, well thats where unbreakable comes into play

Deliverance is trash, don’t run it. The only time where it can be somewhat useful is in endgame where you can probably escape being camped if the killer decides to chase someone away. Even then it’s highly recommended that you run DS with it.

I do, I run deliverance, decisive strike, unbreakable and self care
