Leave A Starter Build For New Survivors

Hello beautiful human beings a similar post for new killers will be made as well. Make a build for new survivors and only give it teachables for one survivor since chances are they don't have any other characters leveled yet. This is just to help new players. I will start

People Who Start With Jake:

Spine Chill

Calm Spirit

Iron Will

(Any perk works)

Prove thyself bond spine chill leader for Dwighty boys.

I'd exclude any build with self care because new players would exclusively rely on that to be healed, which is sometimes a poor choice for both your team and the end game results.

Wraith: Bloodhound - Predator +2 choice perks & addons

The goal isn't to win, but to learn how survivors move around maps and start practicing how to mindgame and counter their movements.

Edit: It said survivors at the end and I thought it said players lol my bad - Leaving it here anyway :)

A good universal starter build is:

    We'll Make it

    Spine Chill

    Kindred (if solo queue)

    One teachable perk

    Best starter build

Dead hard, WGLF, Kindred, Well make it

Dead Hard: Only good exhaustion perk that doesn't change your playstyle (Ex: when balanced was still good i was so accustomed to it i couldnt take it off because i would always look for height in chases.)

WGLF: 1) To encourage altruism and more importantly 2) Double bloodpoints to make the new grind slightly easier. Many new survivors have a hard time gaining the courage to unhook.

Kindred: Helps out the better players on your team and teaches you when you should and shouldnt do things. Very good as most new survivors are solo q

We'll make it: This could be swapped but also encourages altruism, makes healing on hook less scary and helps the better players.

I would totally replace well make it with like prove thyself but david doesnt have it

Adrenaline would also be nice as it encourages survivor to rush the last gen instead of healing

    Bad Suggestions (IMO)

Hope: New survivors wont even notice the 7% boost if they even make it to end game

Spine chill: Not a terrible idea but teaches the player immersion instead of looping

Sprint Burst: New players will always walk everywhere, i wish i could restrict this perk to players with 500+ hours lol.

Bloodhound: Wont teach killers red light plays

    My advise for total beginners:

Get Feng Min first (Sparks of Madness DLC)

    • Alert (Feng perk, lets you see the Aura of the killer when he is kicking a Generator or a Pallet)
    • Technician (Feng perk, when you miss a skillcheck there is a 50% chance the killer wont hear it)
    • Deja Vu (Non-teachable perk, lets you see 3 generators on the map that are close to each other)
    • Kindred (Non-teachable perk, when somebody is on the hook, you can see the aura of the killer closeby and the aura of your teammates, when you are on the hook, the other survivors can see the auras)

    Kind regards
