How does the new MMR match SWFs?
How does the new MMR match SWFs, or is that a secret too?

It’s no secret, it’s random. There I answered everyone’s questions. It’s all freaking random but try to prove it with them dying ranks don’t count anymore and MMR will be hidden.

SWF shouldn’t have any bearing on how they match. Survivors that SWF are going to win more games until their MMR is high enough that they go against killers who can stop them. That’s how a MMR system should work.

It's secret too, but I assume that if it's anything like the last system, it will probably attempt matching you with a killer of a similar mmr to the highest mmr player in the swf.

Devs don't even know how it works. Since, you know, they try and sweep SWF under the rug as if it isn't there.

the new MMR don't feel like it working no matter how many match i played.

By the end it was clear they reverted that and it was matching you with the lowest... hence you had the three rank 1s who wanted to play with their rank 19 friend "just for fun," and teabag the poor new killer they got.

"Currently, SWF groups will calculate an average rating of the players in the group, and then the matchmaking system will attempt to find an opponent based off that average. We will be monitoring this and the results it gives in the real world, and may tweak the formula to produce better results if we identify any problems. "

They should match the killer based off the highest ranked member of the squad. If lower ranks want to play with the best, they have to face the best.
If "red ranks" wanna play with lower ranked people to boost them up then when you face a good killer your just stuck with potatoes on your team and you get ran over.

But you'll get the line of people claiming that a 1, 1, 10 and 20 being matched against a rank 8 is "fair."

Actually that one might be a close match. Two top tier players plus a mid tier player could possibly beat a mid-tier killer in a 3 on 1 game.

I think it’s amazingly unfair if the killer finds either of the 1s and doesn’t give up chase immediately.
