change to hex perks to make them better and worth using

make them activate and the totem light up after all 4 survivors experience the Cursed status effect. So basically if you bring ruin in a match, the totem will light up after all survivors leave a generator and get the cursed status effect. For Huntress Lullaby, the totem would light up after all survivors missed a skill check or all survivors complete a skill check after Huntress Lullaby has at least 1 token. Would this idea be too strong? I mean getting rid of a killer perk in the first 30 seconds as it is right now isn't really balanced imo.

How would that work for say.... Haunted Grounds or Retribution or NOED?

Haunted Grounds would light up the totems:

    a) at the start of the match if the killer doesn't equip other Hexes.

    b) when another Hex perk lights up if the killer equips other Hexes.

Retribution would light up after at least 1 person cleanses a dull totem.

Noed would light up after you down a person after the exit gates are powered

My problem is that, if one person never touches a gen, or powers through it and never sees ruin, the other 3 are permanently ######### with no way to destroy it.

Requiring all 4 to trigger it, to be "lit" is bad idea and will encourage one person to never do a gen, just to save it.

Also, noed not lighting until someone gets downed would be....dumb.

Does the killer get the speed buff before its lit? That would seem like a trigger to light it. Or do they just not benefit either?

Dull totems having effects is a bad idea. If theres a hex, it needs to be lit. They're generally powerful perks, that are a risk to use. You KNOW someone could spawn next to it. Is it powerful enough for you to be okay with that chance?

Why would any killer want to use these perks then? These seem like massive nerfs and survivors can very easily manipulate this to their advantage. Plus survivors could just eliminate all totems and nullify the perk without any of the perks effect being used. Hex perks are in a fairly good place right now with the exception of totem placement.
