Cakes Bugged Again?
I still have quite a few cakes (Ghastly Gateau) left over from the 4th Year event and sometimes try to stack them with my friends, but I've noticed that when multiple of us use cakes, it only uses one of our cakes. I'm curious if others are running into the same issue. I only noticed it after the most recent patch.

There is a bug where if you were on a different survivor and then you switch to one with a cake, it does not count the cake. It happened to me numerous times during the anniversary until a friend finally told me I should just re-equip it upon switching back.
If you didn't switch characters then switch back prior to match starting then I dunno the issue and it is still, regardless, a bug. So ye... it sucks.

I’ve had the switching issue before as well but you won’t see the offering load at the beginning of the match or on the End Game screen. It’s kind of obvious the offerings didn’t load then. Is that what happened with you and your friends, OP?

Yeah. 3 of us throw in cakes and only 1 will show up before the loading screen. Then on the score board it shows that only one of us used a cake and the other two will have the same number of cakes as before. When we tried just one person using a cake it seems to work, but multiple seem to be bugged.

Then that confirms that the issue is switching characters in the killer’s lobby. Survivors can still do that but reset the offerings by unequipping and reequipping the offering you want. Do it before the match starts. The cakes will work.

The devs fixed this for killers in an imaginitive way - You can't swap so you don't get affected by the bug.
