Devs, what exactly are the outcomes? 2 survs escape 2 dead? I mean the possibilities are endless. Can you explain?

It means your total performance of that match vs the other players performances. If you do worse then expected your mmr goes down, better? Goes up. And as predicted = stays the sames.
It probably takes into account objectives, chases, gen times, the basics.
