Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

We need a training/single player mode

imagine being new at this game and you wanna get some practice with a killer you can't handle or you wanna test your loops/jukes skills as a survivor, think about how this could help a lot of people without having to go online and be toxic or start acting edgy towards others. with this new MMR tho, i think this could really come in handy in the game right now.

what do you guys think?

Well I heard mobile users can play with bots, maybe practice there. For me personally, my ‘practice’ is me “farming” with survivors that I already decimated or were put in a severe disadvantage (like 2 DC) and then I mess with tiles, my power, or chase someone and If I down them just carry them till they wiggle off.

Today I had a game where I had 1 dead on hook and the other three on ground before first gen pop. Considering MMR and how weak they seemed, I just let them reset and just practiced shooting them with DS and unspearing them immediately. They slowly got better at trying to loop and dodge me and I worked out what it ‘feels’ like to hit them at max range. Then I opened the door for them and escorted them out.

In short, every game is practice, the amount of practice you get in is dependent on you.

yeah, but think about sweaty tryhards giving no peace or breath to survivors that try to learn the game (or viceversa). there should be smth offline to let people train or maybe just for people that want to have some fun playing with AI rather than real people.

For sure. Let the new players get practice on how to play the game against AI please. Playing against some of the new players MMR has forced me to go against, I straight up feel bad for them, they have no clue how to play the game. An AI only training mode would really help out the new players.

not everybody has the chance to have friends online or willing to train for them. better to have a single player mode with bots that allows the player to train peacefully, without having to bother someone and do it everytime he feels to. even in offline mode.

thank you dude. but it isn't about me, but about people bad at the game that want to get better without relying on others.
