DBD Clones
After playing Identity V for a bit, I feel like playing dbd is almost intolerable. There are definitely issues with it, but honestly, its overall just more engaging and the characters (both survivor and killer) have unique abilities. The fact that there is an unranked game mode makes it feel a lot more enjoyable and less toxic. And you actually get rewarded for playing. (You do in dbd too, but once u have every character u want leveled, its kind of boring. And the rift stuff isn't really as enjoyable imo.)
I think, like a loth of other people, that dbd would greatly benefit from having an unranked game mode. So that people can just mess around and not have to worry about being competitive + winning all the time. I also like that in idv, you have to actually do something to avoid crows.
If you have played a dbd clone like idv, what are your thoughts on it? Do you think dbd could benefit from learning from it, or vice versa?

isn't that a mobile game though? if it has a 'port' on pc, I don't really count unless it's redesigned enough to feel like a proper pc game and not some mobile port with a proper UI but mobile mechanics and feel. the url was passing through netease, which is already a huge turnoff for me lol

nope only on mobile, but monstrum 2 seems good, we'll see about it, i loved the 1 one and 2 is a take on assemytrical so i hope is good

Identity V is nothing compared to DBD imo. The lags in identity V and broken mechanics for both sides maked me quit this game. Never gonna play this again.

An unranked mode is what this game has needed from that start. Better yet, custom rules like Smash Bros has.

Yeah there is a pc version, you have to download it from it's website.

It's really similar to the mobile one, but it's a lot "smoother" to play and the hotkeys are easy to use. I personally enjoy it because it feels more light hearted in comparison to dbd. The tutorial sucks tho lol.

DBD mobile is better than their PC version... somehow
