Pyramid head is OP

Smax
Smax Member Posts: 4

If you think pyramide head is not OP something is wrong in your head. The cage counters every exhaustion perk, deliverance and DS. If you get into the cage, the exhaust status doesn't refresh and you can't use DS or Deliverance. I thing there should be any counterplay to this.

Pyramide head is far too OP, seems to have died out of regular circulation though which is good

If you get caged it literally sends you to the other side of the map and PH can't see the auras anymore. The cage will also teleport if he tries to camp it.

The counter is to not step in his trails in the first place. Want access to these perks? avoid getting tormented.

Except you have to be tormented to be sent to a cage which doesn't often happen unless he zones you to it or you aren't paying attention. His cages also don't give stacks for BBQ or Devour, they also prevent perks like Pop, Furtive Chase, Dead Man's Switch, Make Your Choice, Thrilling Tremors, and literally any other killer perk that require carrying or hooking Survivors to work. If anything he just needs a slight delay between using his power and going for an M1 hit so he can't fake it for the hit as easily. Far from OP.

Imagine Pyramid Head players using the cages 😂

How many time you have to be camping the cage? Ithink if cage is not on your same floor it wont teleport. I remember a situation of a cage on thr cabin of wrecker yard and didnt tp being upstairs maybe cuz of being in chase?

the only thing too strong with him imo is his ability to fake his ranged attack.

the cage mechanic is fine, he cant see the cages aura and it despawns should he come too close to it after all.

Basically, if you don't run those perks then you counter cages automatically

I disagree. Imagine if you don't run those perks for a moment, what does the cage do now? Also, the trade off for countering survivor hook perks is being unable to use killer hook perks. So pop and bbq, two of the best killer perks in the game, are now not nearly as good. Also, there are steps you can take to ensure that you will almost never be tormented, like ditching the loop or being mindful of whats around you. I think PH is well balanced, all he needs is something to discourage tunneling.

    He's obnoxious. But hardly OP.

The only thing about him that is strong is his Punishmend attack hitbox.

Would like going against him a lot more if his kit inclined him to be more reliant on using his ranged attack rather than just pretending to use it. OP, though? Not by a long shot.

The Killer nows that he is playing PH so he doesn't use the Perks where you need a hook and if you are getting chased good luck crouching through the Torment. I think Survivors are really weak atm and i am not even talking about soloq. I think they should buff Killers early cause he has no chance but nerf his lategame (I have been playing against a lot of Killer that camp three gens from the beginning to get you in a three gen) but buff the survivors overall.

Sorry, couldn't read past the 'Survivors are weak' part. Do you even play the game? Like at all? Because you clearly don't, and if you do, you're clearly a low rank. Or MMR level or whatever we're calling it now. I main PH and I run those perks you need hooks for and I still manage to use my cages perfectly fine. And the survivors I VS are very good at avoiding my trails and avoiding my AoE attack. So, to sum up. PH = Fine. Survivors = Not weak.

As a survivor main i don't think he is overpowered, or at least not as much as before. The only thing i find annoying about him is how fast he is though. 2 seconds in the chase and he is already behind me

Cage Counter = Crouching and not be Tormented

Do you even play survivors, or are u that killer that camps and tunnels with noed? I thing i'm pretty good at the game as survivor but u really don't now what ur talking about...

Okay, Pyramid Head is not OP

His cages are so weak now and the only things that make it better than hooks is that it prevents all hook exclusive perks from activating and prevents exhaustion perks from activating and it being a hookless hook. The multiple things that make it bad is that the cages are extremely predictable, they can be the reason you lose due to the cages spawning near exit gates, they heal survivors of the torment effect, all killer hook perks do not work with them (meaning Devour and PGTW don’t work with them).

Right. Because this is the typical DbD player. I defended a killer so I MUST be a Main and tunnel and camp and NOED people to death. No, I play both sides, and do not tunnel or camp. And even if I did do these things, that has nothing to do with any of the points I have made. Your response proves it really. You go down the insult someone route, when I'm giving my opinion on what you claim is 'OP'. If you don't like it, don't respond. But don't go insulting people like you just did because you don't like what is said.

I know that's a typo and you meant Punishment

    But that had me thinking

Imagine a perk that could somehow balance Punishing Mend 😝

I’m still iffy on how strong he is. It’s interesting how few streamers think he’s particularly strong.

Lmao i know what you mean half the time i'm like does he have pwyf.

  • LeaderoftheSaints
    LeaderoftheSaints Member Posts: 162

He isn't op at all. His ranged attack can easily be dodged and his trails can be crouched over. Yes he can bait his power but so can alot of other killers. And if he puts his trails at loop go to another loop.

Why are the DBD fourms filled with baitposters?

    Attention seeking person? Totally

PH isn't OP in the slightest, he's like a Clown now, normal weak killer, he also massively lacks information, only information he gets in his base kit is probably someone who steps in his trail (killer instinct for like 2-3 seconds)... The fact that we could see cages aura was absolutly fine, my reasoning? If all gens are done and don't have 1k, I accept the camp, now, PH can't even camp his cage for the fact that entitled survivor mains cried like babies because "He WaS tOo Op"... I play both sides equally and when I played against him, he was fair and balanced, cried for Deathslinger nerf and etc, might as well remove killers at this point!🙄🙄

So do most PH players run PGTW these days? I don't have PH yet, but I'm working out a build for the near future.
