Chapter 17 possible PTB date?
Im just wondering a possible PTB date for chapter 17. Not cause I'm excited for the new killer and survivor but because I saw Cheryl is getting a new skin and I wanna see what it is

I doubt if PTB will come with Cheryl's new skin. It'll probably be only 'Too OP pls nerf' killer and unfinished survivor with familiar voice.

LBD once said in general chat that the PTB is expected around the 18th-25th August, however the most likely day is the 20th.

I dont think they'd add a male legendary skin for a female survivor, maybe they'd put him on someone else but I don't think they'd do it for Cheryl

It’s not that weird. Legendary skins were introduced with her chapter after all. There needs to be negotiations with the license holder for the other licensed chars and legendary skins don’t make as much sense for non licensed chars.

I don't think they will gonna add Dahlia or Claudia, because they were the antagonists of series.
Also I hope they're gonna give Cheryl her skin from Shattered Memories 😀

We dont need a new chapter with a new killer and new survivor right now. The game is so far from even being playable right now its ridiculous.

The frame rate is so bad now cant even play on small maps (for xbox one)
I mean the list goes on and on and these are just a few of the bugs from the recent patch.
The devs cant just keep patching more garbage patches on top of already bad ones. Need to fix the game in its current state before they add more content.

Well to be fair they said that the LEGENDARY skin will COMPLETELY change your character. So it might be a chance that male protagonists of Silent Hill could arrive to dbd

No I'm sure he would but like Nekogamer said, since they don't change the voice its unlikely he'd go on Cheryl but its possible he'll go on someone like Dwight or David as a legendary

PTB should almost certainly be on the 25th. 3 weeks before the 15th of September, which is the day level 4 of the archives releases (and as patterns have shown, level 4 releases the day after the chapter itself)

I think that will be the actual chapter release date. The last two released 98 days apart. PTB is usually 2 weeks before, so September 8th will be the PTB.

Yes, but they can't put that on a character someone else holds copyright over. I'd have to look up the part in copyright regulations, but stuff like that is covered. it's a complete mess
