When are hit boxes going to be fixed? It's 2020 ffs

Please tell me how this hatchet hits me, I don't wanna hear about ping because yes I have great wired internet and this happens 3/5 times

    the killers ping, and hits being decided by the killers connection and not yours :)

    Story of my life; this is why I don’t play against huntress ; & sadly you can have the best internet like myself but the game feels sorry for poor people so it gives them the advantage

    hitboxes are working as intended.

    you are facing two phenomenons in this scenario:

    1) your playmodel not matching your actual hitbox. due to you being injured, your playmodel is leaning forward. however, your hitbox stays unchanged and therefore allows for a hit that looks very off. a hatchet can hit you from behind as far as your playmodel can bend forward.

    2) latency. in the current system the killer gets priority in hit detection, if it looked fine on his screen, the server counts it as a hit even when on your screen you are already miles away. the devs are working on server sided hit detection right now though, so thats being worked on.
