Why do I keep going against level 1 Killers when I have NEVER been in the red myself!
This update is stupid! The previous matching at least was more fair. I never went up against level 1 folks. This update needs to go. Can we at least choose if we can play this new rating or the emblem rating?

How many times do I have to go against level 1 killers before you catch on that that isn't my skill level? Am I really going to be stuck here forever? Cause I go down round after round and only a few times has it not been level 1.

If you would be a killer, I would say - all survivors eventually get to red ranks, if they play often enough. But you play survivor.. its different. Noob killers dont get to red ranks. I agree, it is not fair. You shouldnt get pro killers.

Thanks for understanding. I'm at the threshold of my skill. I can't make it to red skill as a solo survivour. I hope they dont assume everyone who has played a long time are experts. Because thats not the case with everyone. People are different and have different skill levels that their brains cant surpass, no matter how much they try.

I'd say if its absolutely terrible and feels unplayable for you, but you still want to play you only have 2 possibly 3 choices.
- Keep playing until you are capable of matching what you are playing against.
- Wait a weeks time for most players mmr to settle (It might work, it might not. But its a possibility)
- Wait for the Devs to make a statement about the matchmaking system or a change to it.
But no matter what you choose, watch a couple of educational videos on the subjects you are having trouble with. Ohtofu, Fungoose, possibly Painreliever (and others but those names are all I can remember right now) has a lot of educational videos for both sides.
Personally I was stuck around green/purple ranks as a Killer and constantly got red ranks til I tilted off the planet in anger. Watched a lot of DBD content and applied that information to my own prior knowledge. It helps a lot man, at least it helped me, and its almost impossible to fall out of rank 2 now. But ofc all of this is if you still want to play. Good luck to you.

DBD has always been like this. Mismatches were worse at "rank reset" but there were plenty of people with little skill who just played a lot and got to red ranks as well which it all it takes. This new system is the same thing, just amplified now and randomly worse.

This is after about 30 matches now and still being placed against more Red Ranks then anything else. I know they said it should balance after 10 matches but do they mean the first 10 or the next 10 or the 10 after that? lol

I guess we get the fortune of being the crash test dummies. And everyone else gets the fair pairing.. 😭

Yep and it bothers me because killers already get a better amount of BP but now they are sure to get max points by farming us normal skilled average players are less. I mean one round the killer came out with 31k and I did not even have double digits in BP. lol

Well, rank 1 killer vs brown rank survivors screenshots prove that devs are lazy or dont care about fair matchmaking.
I cant remember baing placed vs top players in any other game. I played ranked Warface games ( you begin at the very bottom and you fight only noobs who are exatcly the same +/-5 ranks players as you, they have the same colour as you have), next ranked Rainow Six Siege, I was solo Platinum player BTW multiple seasons (I have platinum rank charms that players get at the end of that season, they are all different design) ( it was the same 10 games and you get placed, but you cant be placed above high Gold. And during the first 10 matches you wouldnt get Platinum or Diamond players, only maximum gold teams, if you play well) and in Paladins I wouldnt get crazy enemy teams. It was always casual mixed teams with solo players.
If you get rank 1 kilers its bs. What rank 1 mean? - it mean that killer can 4k and 3k every game to stay at rank 1, lol.
