Matchmaking doesn't do what it's supposed to do

It's truly strange how I get grey rank survivors whenever I play on my favorite killers, but the second I try to play a lesser played killer I get matched up with red rank squads which loop me all day and deny me a hook throughout the entire match.

Wasn't the system supposed to do the opposite? You know, so that people can actually try different killers without getting completely destroyed by the survivors?

I feel the same way. The new matchmaking makes no sense. When I play survivor I get totaly random allies and a random killer. Can be only ranks 1-2 or ranks 15-20, or smth between. 100% random.

But it's even worse for new players: my little brother bought the game today. 1st game as a killer: he struggled to get a single kill (he just face-camped one player at the end). 2nd game, I tought it would be easier and he got DESTROYED. At the end of the match we saw 2 rank 2 and 2 rank 4. How is it supposed to be fair? How is it supposed to be fun?

Dev said that the rank doesn't allways show the real skill, and mmr should change it. I feel like the matches were absolutely balanced a few days ago, and now it's random (and I have a serious PTSD after 7 years of league of legends and their mmr system). If you are queued with players at the same rank, that othen means you have same level. If you don't play enough to rank up, you're level will obviously be lower than if you play 10 hours /day. The variance is pretty low I think.

MMR is still a good idea bcs if you implement it well it makes all games balanced in term of skill. But this mmr is clearly wrong.

Anyway, the devs seem being pretty fast at reacting to problems so i hope it will be fixed asap

I am a green rank survivor who is constantly matched with grey rank survivors against a red rank killer. I've played 10+ games already and this is all so freaking bad. It shouldn't be happening.
