Yes. You did read that title correctly.
Before the latest patch throwing bottles did not remove stacks of PWYF. Now they do.
Because with gen times at an all time low, moris and keys still in the game, almost all perks being bad, most maps being either decent or terrible, and survivors randomly making no sounds whatsoever, Clown clearly needed to be nerfed.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to down a gallon of bleach.

yeah this game blows, killers are too weak. every game has become a predictable snooze fest because of the imbalances. kinda wish I could get a refund

It's dumb and shouldn't work that way but honestly I would never have found this out on my own since I don't play clown too often and I almost never use PWYF. If something is nerfed but no one ever even discovers it then is it a nerf? It could have always worked this way for all I know.

Im a rank 1 killer and im getting 4ks 90% of the time on multiple killers.

What the heck is pwyf, and the clown doesnt need a nerf lmao. I just got out a match with a tunneling/Camping clown who didnt even get s single kill at all. Since he tunneled, we body blocked, Sabatoged and did everything in our power to win. He even gave up at some point and stopped moving once we had both exit gates opened. Then again, we were purple and red rank going against a near yellow rank but like honestly, the clown is fine.

Each token increases your speed by 5% for a total of 3 tokens equating to 15%.
Clown can be a 130% speed killer with 3 stacks of PWYF.

nah if you play against 4x of your average rank 1's that are 2000 hours, you will see how ridiculously imbalanced this is. killers shouldnt have to play against multiple potatoes to stand a chance

I'm a high rank killer. Killers are in no way weak. A strong swf vs a decent killer will result in a 2k game. Honestly this game only feels balanced at high ranks. Low ranks are a ######### show.

Ranks are now meaningless as a way to measure skill since the MMR update.
They are only a sign of how long you have played.

The MMR has quickly grown a reputation for matching up experienced players with new ones, leading to laughable easy games.

So Rank isn't an indicator of skill and MMR isn't an indicator of skill. So basically, my opionion is wrong because I'm bad but I don't know I'm bad because I'm only playing vs potatoes and I'm boosted apparently. All the while you know that killers are unfair because you're not being paired with potatoes? I'm not sure I understand your logic.

This happens a lot. Myers ended up having his post-game walking animation changed to trapper’s when the billy and cannibal changes came out, despite that neither trapper or myers got any changes or bug fixes.

It'd not be Dead by Daylight if BHVR didn't unintentionally introduce new bugs for stuff that wasn't even touched in the first place. Their code must be one massive slew of spaghetti.

As for balance;
The current matchmaking demonstrates us perfectly that matches with players of different skill levels are incredibly unfair. So is it the game that is unbalanced or is it the matchmaking that created unfair matches in all those years?
To find out if the game is balanced, the system needs to put TOP TIER players against each other. The best Killers vs the best Survivors, that is a representation of "balance" because the matches are FAIR and the players know how to play, how to abuse mechanics.
It's no coincidence that in tournaments you mostly see tunneling Spirits, Hags and Nurses. If they played other Killers and didn't tunnel, they would get destroyed.

Dowsey has also predicted Pyramid head may see a lot of use due to his ability to ignore common perks like ds and kill people very very quickly, putting immense pressure on the survivor team.
But yeah I don't think I've ever seen Hag used in a tournament once. I've seen more Billy's than Hag's.

Honestly I was pretty convinced that he was a troll. People "bragging" like that without forwarding any sort of evidence cant honestly be trusted to be anything but liars/trolls or survivor mains that want killers nerfed. Really all he had to do was just take screenshots of his next 10+ games, it wouldnt be proof of his statement, but would lend him some creditability. With that said, beyond the "tournament squads" the game is mostly ok in regards to balance. Once in a while a 4man swf that tryhards enters the game vs clown, pig, trapper or some such, and they stomp the poor guy. Unfortunately killers just have to sweat more because of the asymmetrical aspect of the game and make fewer mistakes.
But if you do meet the "tournament squads", the game is lost. The best players on the best killers are capable of putting up a fight, but they are mostly "happy" if they get 1 or 2 kills there.

Fair, I have no problem "admitting" that Hag isn't played that often but it's also irrelevant nitpicking that ultimately has no impact on the statement I made. Point is, certain Killers or Perks perform better against skilled Players and others don't. If you bring a Trapper or Wraith against skilled players, chances are high that you get demolished because these Killers are weak in comparision to Nurse or Spirit. If you let Rank 20s play as Nurse then she will appear much weaker than Trapper due to them not knowing how to play.
So if you want to see proper balance, you let the best Killers play against the best Survivors and see how they perform. The matchmaking is so random that the games are already unbalanced before it even starts.
E: That was supposed to be a critique for the devs for nerfing Clown. They obviously have no idea how high skill matches look like if they think Clown needed a nerf.

How is that an offensive action? I get that "offensive actions" are up for debate (I know Plague's green puke last time I checked doesn't count even though it can indirectly injure you by applying the broken status effect, and Myers literally tombstoning you doesn't count either. Neither does Doctor's shocks.) but how is the bottle an offensive action? It can't physically injure survivors!

IKR, if that's considered an offensive action then things like Nurse blink, Hag tp or Doctors shock should also be considered "offensive actions". In fact Doctors shock is pretty damn similar to the bottle.

Technically both are aggressive/offensive actions.
Its stupid, but technically correct. And we know how they like to change things that are working perfectly fine to "keep them in line with others".

Offensive actions could be anything that is an action you use to directly affect the survivor. Its not as defined as "basic attack".
Hillbilly sprinting NEAR someone could be considered an offensive action.

IMHO it's a bug - Devs said time and time again that if something is not explicit in the patch notes it's usually unintended.

I've been in 3 tournaments on PS4. First place, second place and lost on the 3rd tournament due to having a random team who never practiced. Never once saw a Hag. Pig, Billy and Spirit are people's favorites.
