earning each individual achievement is a sign that you put in the effort and made your way to your position in the game, but after the past game of bullying swf all telling me its pointless because steam achievement manager Im curious.... if you cheat in your achievements should you get to look down on someone who earned them all legit or are you truly better (also if someone could actually explain what the achievement manager is Id appreciate it cause all I know is that they have 100% profiles on the game)
I take a little bit of pride in being able to EARN all the achievements I have but the level of shutdown I got was a little disheartening

Firstly if you use SAM you're very very likely to be VAC banned. So there's that.
Secondly, no. No you can't look down on anyone who's earned achievement legitimately. If anything it's the opposite; you can look down on anyone who uses SAM for it.
If you cheat in the game, you are scum.

Two things:
- People that use achievement hacks are losers with a small pp and no one will ever love them.
- If you see someone with hacked achievements or a chat log file where they admit to hack, report it to the dbd devs or steam and they will get banned.
I forgot something: You should do the achievements to give yourself a challenge, not to look better for others. The achievements are a goal you set yourself, something you can even be a bit proud of simply because you were patient enough to go through them all without cheating.

Im a "completionist" kinda and Im just missing 2 for dbd but after the previously mentioned scum I was kinda in my own head a bit so thank you

Yes, in my opinion get it. Grind it. Not only will it be so rewarding but you won't risk a ban.
Take it from someone who got VAC banned from a different game for hacking achievements with SAM. Don't do it. It isn't worth it.

75 downs while in blood fury with oni - 37/75
500 blink strikes with nurse (my worst killer) 151/500

I just did the Oni one a few days ago, it was frustrating because I would get red rank Survivors even though I never played him before and had no perks at all. I used Infectious Fright and just slugged whenever the perk gave me a reason to.
As for Nurse, that can be a tough one as it will take a while to get used to the blinks. Good luck, I'd say you already have the hardest / most frustrating ones so congrats on that :)
