Killer tweaks proposition
So, in dbd, to many killers are just weak or to strong. This is why I decided to make a list of buffs and nerfs for them. I am going to start with weaker killers and then I will propose changes for the stronger ones. And please, try to get out of the mindsets "I want my 4k for free" or "I cannot bully killers and t-bag them all game if they are to strong".
The Trapper: when someone falls for one of his traps, people should not be able to instantly get out of trouble just because someone is nearby. It should take twice as much time to rescue someone. Also, escaping should not be random because it is just dumb to have one side get a free down&trap escape and compensate for a lack of skill just because of RNG. Make it so that escaping takes twice as much time as rescuing.
The Wraith: this killer would be viable if you could truly use his stealth. Right now, pay attention and you will see him coming and his power is useless. My fix for this would be: make him completely invisible and make his footsteps 25% louder. This would force the survivors to pay attention and keep their guard up, which fits the horror theme, while offering fair counter-play: you can hear him coming if you listen closely. He would not be underwhelming, because he could get close to survivors and get an easier time getting them, but he would not be op, because survivors could pay attention to sound and grass, allowing them to know he is coming and run away before it is to late.
Myers: Myers just takes to much time to stalk. If the survivors are good, they will just pop gens before he can really get his stalk. And if survivors do not stick around together and avoid the killer during his tier 3, they will limit his downing potential to 1 down per tier 3. I think that it would be interesting if downing his obsession resets his tier 3 timer: it would feet the theme of a stalker, downing the prey he wants motivates him, while making it so that he can be dangerous and that you need to be careful even at the end. He would have an obsession at the beginning of the game.
And now, those killers should be nerfed:
Deathslinguer. Why is his terror radius to small? It should be the default 32 meters. It is so dumb: he is already strong enough in a chase with his gun and this terror radius does not make sense: he is not a stealth killer by his lore, he is not meant to be creepy but to be a chase killer. This killer has the double ability of being a stealth killer and a chase killer. Those 2 should not be merged together, it just creates an op character.
Pyramid head: this killer can basically spam the hit threw the wall ability. If he misses, no problem, there is no recharge time, just a tiny cool down. He is basically free to spam as much as he wants this broken ability that can down someone. He should have to wait 15 seconds of more before he can use it again. Like, come on, if the survivor does not guess you, you get a free hit, but if the survivor guesses you, you get almost nothing as a penalty. The survivor does not have enough time to get to another loop, unless it is a broken map.

I'm honestly cool with all of these and amen on Deathslinger's ridiculous terror radius. It's BS that you have basically what amount to a Huntress with the terror radius of a Hag and that's assuming he doesn't have Monitor and Abuse at which point you don't even hear him until he's basically in melee range

The killers that you mentioned don't need nerfs at all. Deathslinger is an extremely weak killer with decent chase. If you can't deal with a small terror radius I suggest using the perks spine chill and OoO, or better, use your eyes.
Pyramid head cannot spam the hit through wall ability, as he is punished HEAVILY, just as long as missing a basic attack without STBFL. Also, if he takes his sword out of the ground, he can't M1 for just over a second, giving you ample time to vault a window or drop a pallet.

@2ndBusiestmusicnerd killer main detected
1 -
Ah yes, I'm a killer main that thinks spirit, Iri head, redhead's pinky finger, mint rag, hag's proxy camp, tunneling, camping, NOED etc should be nerfed and I also think that BT should be basekit. Stop spewing nonsense and actually take some criticism.

@GoodBoyKaru Sorry, I betrayed you, I'm a filthy entitled killer main now :(.

@2ndBusiestmusicnerd deathslinguer: you cannot use your eyes on an indoor map or when your working on a generator with a lot of obstacles nearby. Using perks just for a killer is dumb because they might never get into use. Stop trying to force me to use certain builds because, you know, I can apply that logic to you: since your a killer main, I assume you think decisive is op. You can just use unnerving presence.
For Pyramid head, you will have to instantly drop the pallet or something if you ever want to have a chance to get chases, which will lead to a resource shortage.

@2ndBusiestmusicnerd I though you were one because you only mentioned the part of the post that negatively affects killers, so you had a 99% chance to be a killer main, but you are not. Sorry, that was a mistake, even tho you really seemed like one, I will try to verify things I say next time (things that concern specific players).

Exactly, on indoor maps. How many indoor maps are there? Exactly, 3. Also, deathslinger on a indoor map is hot garbage because of how much you can block LOS. I never forced you to use a certain build, I just recommended it and said use your eyes. I'm not a killer main, I play both sides. Also, unnerving presence doesn't counter DS, that's ridiculous. You never need to instantly drop pallets against PH, you can still loop him normally, but if he puts his sword in the ground, just continue looping, since his movement is limited and he can't round corners.

It takes a lot to admit a mistake, I respect that :). I just thought the 2 killers you mentioned weren't OP, as spirit is much more broken, and the 2 killers you mentioned have a reasonable amount of counterplay. I can see why you might consider me a killer main though.

Well, Deathslinger will have a terror radius of 32m but in return, he will have a speed of 115%. Okay?
2 -
@2ndBusiestmusicnerd you do not even know the number of indoor maps lul. They are 4 due to midwhich. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFIXdbpFizw here is the proof it does counter decisive. And more often that not, it is not difficult to keep sight with a survivor, even in an indoor map. You cannot loop normally when PH drops his word on the ground for an attack because you need to juke him.

@Antares_2332 I am not sure about that. His chase potential would still be great due to his gun if he is used correctly.

#########, I forgot about Hawkins. Also, as mentioned, he can't M1 for a moment after he cancels his power, and juking his power is not hard as you aren't in animation lock. If anything, PH needs his range add-ons nerfed.

@2ndBusiestmusicnerd it is hard to argue the power of a killer because some things might sound good on paper but sucks when applied. I would like to see the devs give us stats about this.
0 -
That's what his power is all about, to end the chases quickly. If not, what sense would it make? He is a strong killer in chases, but with little pressure on the map.
0 -
@Antares_2332 well a lack of pressure compensates for his strong chase potential if the chase potential only comes from the gun. combine it with the small terror radius and you have an op killer.
0 -
Yeah let's nerf killer more !!!!
2 -
He is an OP killer but.. ONLY in chases. His weakness is the lack of pressure on the map. So in my opinion he's fine.
1 -
Hillbilly was nerfed, but it looks like that's still not enough for them..
1 -
No killer should be nerges in the games current stature..could polishes be made ? Sure..but party nerfs that help remove thought from countering these killers won't help people improve
0 -
The dream of survivor mains : all killers are M1 zombies that you can loop easily.
3 -
And I agree with your suggested buffs, that's some good ideas. But PH and DS really don't need a nerf. Pyramid has been nerfed so his cages are worthless, and deathslinger is a slow killer with 0 map pressure...

I dont think you understand how the game works
0 -
And i said i dont think you understand. So thats my opinion. Who doesnt understand it now?

Sooo. Deathslinger gets a 115% m/s due to a terror radius change. When slinger's weakness is stealthed survivors. Indoor maps. LoS. And people that can dodge him instantly? I mean the m/s would be great =D
