Killer making mistakes is far more punishing than Survivors' mistakes.
If a Killer makes a mistake where they don't down a Survivor when an opportunity comes (ie. Huntress missing a shot, Bubba not using a charge, missed attack, etc), then it will prolong the chase by vast amount, meaning more time for gens to be completed.
When a Survivor makes a mistake, there is still potential for the Survivors to make a comeback with the use of jungle gyms, perks, god pallets, etc. There is better leniency on the Survivors side than the Killers'.
Basically, if a decent Killer doesn't play 100% perfectly against a decent group of Survivors, then there is extremely high chance the Killer be in the losing position.

Its a 1v4 game. If survivors mistakes counted for even close to as much as the killers did this game would have died a long time ago. There are more survivors more chances for mistakes, its up to the killer to take advantage of that.
Yes its "stressful" and kind of frustrating at points but thats the role you choose as killer. And thats what makes it awesome when you outplay them despite that and win.

Not calling for Survivor nerfs. What I am saying is there needs to be better leniency for the Killers side.

Agreed about map size. But against SWAT SWF Survivor teams, Killers can't really do anything in that position even if they do make many mistakes.

I understand your desire. The leniency varies between killers too btw.
For example, your comeback options as say, clown are basically nonexistent, whereas a good nurse can be threatening throughout the match.
It can be rough in the fog. Just embrace the more challenging role as what it is ( not saying survivor doesnt take skill, I´ve seen amazing ones, bad ones and everything in between).
