How to Bubba?
So I just recently bought Bubba because he was on sale and I wanted to play him (and also get BBQ), but my first game went absolutely miserably. Not sure who threw more tantrums - me or Bubba. What are some tips you have for controlling his chainsaw sweep, or is it just something that comes with lots and lots of practice? I think I managed to get one or two solid sweeps out of 25 tries, and I didn't even hit anyone.
In general, any tips for him would be great! I like diversifying my killer portfolio. (Also for reference - I play on PS4.)

Try your best to memorise how long his chainsaw sweep without charges is.
Then, when you fully memorise how long it is, apply that to using charges and use your charge just a few moments before the sweep ends to maximise the length of the sweep.
Be sure to not hug the walls, as hitting one will stun you and set all of your charges to 0.

I think hugging the walls might have been my major problem, so I'll definitely practice going wider. Thank you!

As far as using the charges, just watch the chainsaw swings and hit the right mouse button as he's doing the third swing (or just count to yourself 1-2-3 as he swings and tap on three). You can get a little more precise if you watch the energy bar in the lower corner of the screen but honestly watching the chainsaw itself is easier and just about good and also keeps you looking at the person you're chasing.

You can do a max of 10 swipes with bubba. 4 swipes before you use 2nd charge and 3 more after that before you use the third. If you know the timing then it'll be better for you.
Be at a considerable distance between you and survivor. Don't worry about pallets..he'll just destroy it in no time. Windows are an issue so run bamboozle and you can deal with them.
You can moonwalk with his chainsaw btw so make sure to use it and hide redglow.

Hehehe the OP stated he's on PS4 so no mouse is possible. Rest is solid advice my bubba!

Honestly I run most counters and I find it rather enjoyable and not so sweaty. Bamboozle/cruel limits. Iron Maiden, it can be fun.

She! But yes, I like the advice. Do you happen to know what the PS4 equivalent to right mouse button would be? I have my controls set on default, so would it just be the usual power activation button?

Right, whatever button you press to rev the chainsaw is also the button you tap to keep it going during the sprint.

Here's my 2 step Bubba mastery program:
Tape keyboard to head + Bash mouse with forehead = Profit

use three of them everytime until you hit the survivor.

I count while activating counters. It also keeps my calm while chasing a survivor with the active chainsaw.

You just need to use your muscle memory and memorize how long 2 seconds are
