Pyramid Head's current state
It's been nearly 2 months since the Silent Hill chapter went live. I've personally haven't faced a great number of Executioners in my last games. In fact, I haven't faced him in a long time, maybe a whole month. And that got me thinking: Why? Is it because of the meta? Or is it something else?
So, what do you all think?
By the way, I haven't bought the Silent Hill chapter so I haven't played as him yet.

I feel like he needs to be less binary at pallets/windows(Aka not always getting a hit) but also able to make more plays with his power outside of pallets/windows.
He can be made balanced with a tweak(Longer/faster projectile but slower switch time between his 2 modes aka a trade off change) but he doesn't need a buff/nerf/rework.

PH needs a buff
Because he got a massive nerf so half of his power is nothing but a cosmetic alternate to hooking. (Funny this should happen less than a month after his launch once the majority of people had already paid ca$$$h for him but there you have it. Happens with most premium characters, Killer and Survivor otherwise people /cry omgwtf p2w)
It's better to leave people tangled in barbed wire so their screens field of view has a distraction around it and then use it for 3rd hook replacement for execution.
The only other reason / time to use cage of atonement is when you've downed one survivor with another one within arms reach for chase.

PH is fine
I mean. In the state where he is now - he is one of the A-tier killers, when played correctly (similar to Nurse in that sense).
All the votes for nerf will come from survivor-mains, who can't counter him. Just watch.

Caging is an alternative to hooking, not necessarily worse. If I am in a situation where I should slug, I have an option of whether I should progress hook states at the cost of potentially lowering my pressure. This is especially nasty on Azarov's Resting Place, which is his strongest map imo. Cages were not even nerfed that harshly, just know where they can spawn and then you'll always know where it should be since it's the farthest location, all that happened was that you can't camp with him.
He's quite strong at the moment, if he ever gets an actually sizable nerf, then we can talk about buffs.

It isn't a fancier hook though. It allows him to slug and snowball while getting a free hook state.

Pyramid Head is an easy to play pay to win killer that requires 1 match to master which means denying windows and pallets.
Nothing about him was nerfed unless you used to tunnel everyone off the cages every match in which case you just need to get good as a killer since it is hideously easy to win as Pyramid Head without tunneling.
And his barbwire is not just a fancy alternative to hooking. It saves time and ignores Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, doesn't reset the survivor's exhaustion etc.
thus generating pressure for doing NOTHING (aka pay 2 win) and even provides a cheap 3 second mori on death hook (aka pay 2 win).
It is beyond me how people can even think he needs a buff when he is so easy to play and easy to win as.

You need to be creative to counter PH and read him. The second you get to a chase against PH you feel that pressure..that fear that he's strong and you need to pay attention at all times and have good reflexes. That's how every killer should be.

PH needs a rework
Just a small tweak. Give a cooldown to pulling his sword out of the ground and he's in a good spot.

I like him as he is, a killer with counter play that can still get use out of his power and has a decent skill curve. I feel like his addons could be changed though, mostly his Iri’s.

And? That's what it was meant to be. I'll bet you were 1 of those face campers who just had to lick their balls as you stood up the survivors ass while in the cage. That was a terrible function that Executioner had and he needed that debuff. He is still op af cause survivors looping capabilities are severely limited.

in my opinion he is mostly fine, however i would like to see a change on his ability to fake his ranged attack.
i wouldnt want to leave it at that nerf though, imo he needs a buff in return to stay viable.

PH needs a nerf
When I got him and grinded his achievements, I found it really easy to just Smach it every chase despite having bad/mediocre perks available while leveling him. I think hes a bit too strong.
