Give me back the MMR system for killer
This has been the only time I've had fun and not been stressed as a killer. Every game with MMR off is a bunch of sweaty red rank toxic ######### swf's. Get your ######### together and pick a good matchmaking system. It's unplayable as killer vs red rank swf's, especially with a less than stellar killer like Pig.

Opposite side here, today has been the first time in a long time I've won as a killer. With MMR as a rank 14 killer I kept getting SWF Red Ranks every.single.game. It's so much better without it

MMR for individual killers was a bad idea. The basic skill for killers are the same across all the killers (yes nurse is the main exception). Looping, mind games, pathing, basic decision making, etc. are transferable across most killers. Its the same reasoning as asking for a character specific MMR for survivors because not all survivors have the same perks,etc. They're basically all the same with minor playstyle adjustments.

so with a survivor who can spot the trapper's traps is just as good against the wraith... or good against mikie = good against freddy??? or how about mikie and ghostface? the individual mmr is good but there should be a baseline killer mmr for specific actions that applies to each killer played not just that one killer but specific things each killer does differently is only attributed to that killer's number. so trapper and nurse have a base set of things that move each other's up and then say with nurse you get blink successes etc for that killer specifically.

Currently I'm having fun as a killer, the MMR made me feel bad for newer players, at least now I have people that have played for 1.5k hours vs me, I don't think it was fair to vs a group of rank 20 survivors that had 1 hour.

Honestly even when MMR was a thing I didn't see any difference as killer. I'm consistently rank 1 and 2 on killer, and almost every single survivor I get / got was red rank with maybe the odd rank who was a SWF friend. It was exactly like before "MMR", I never got one of those fabled rank 1 killer vs 4 rank 20 survivors. Every one of my games had a minimum of 2 red ranks if not 3 in it.
Now, and prior to MMR I get the same exact thing on killer. only red ranks, and if the red ranks have a low rank SWF friend.
As a red rank survivor though I'm still getting new and low rank killers, nothing changed on that end, before, during and after MMR. Overall it really seems like nothing changed.

I also preferred it. When I swapped killers, I'd get a mix of overly difficult or easy games, but it usually seemed to balance out.
When I played Trapper (hadn't play him for awhile), I was getting a mix red ranks and purple ranks most games. I'm currently a purple rank killer.
WIthout MMR, If I was green ranked or above, then every game would be red ranks. While ranks don't mean a lot, other than reflecting play-time, it was pretty nice seeing fellow purple ranks in games, even if they were typically paired with at two red ranks.
Felt like there was variety. Even if one game was a horrible one-sided mess, one could hope the next would be more balanced. As opposed to ranks, where every killer game is vs red ranks once you hit green or better.
System could definitely use some fixing, but I hope MMR gets re-implemented.

I feel like MMR could work for killers but by category:
Set up killers like Hag/Trapper/Demo would share the same MMR but don't share it with stealth killers like Wraith/Michael/Ghost Face/Pig.
So I'd say the MMR categories should be:
Set up: Hag/Trapper/Demo
Chaser: Leather Face/Legion/Doctor/Spirit/Clown/Freddy/Pyramid Head.
Stealth: Wraith/Michael/Ghost Face/Pig.
Snowball: Oni/Billy/Plague
Also unique killers should have separate MMR from everyone else even other uniques aka Nurse/Huntress/Deathslinger.
This would mean killers who are similar enough to each other will share MMR letting the system work better

well sorry but versing meg heads with 2 hours in the game isnt exactly fair or balanced if your complaining about swfs you can almost always beat a swf dependent on the desicions you make the only teams you cant beat are death squads and i dont meant the throw pallet t bag survivors or that they know how to loop, they will leave survivors to die on hook in order to use time to do gens and get out within 5 minutes these teams are willing to let others die just to do the most efficient method in order to escape. i think mmr was probably the second worst addition to this game just behind old legion i have just over 6k hours in this game and i checked this killers profile and literally 1 achievement and less than 1 hour played this was after like 30 games or so so mmr shouldve been working by that point
