It's an opt-out system; you go into options and opt-out. Anyone who's opted out will be queued with others on their platform who have opted out. Anyone who's opted in will be queued with others who have opted into cross-play.

We don’t know what time. They didn’t officially announce the date and time. We only got this tweet. That Aug 13 date is from Leaks by Daylight, not from BHVR themselves. I’m not saying they’re wrong though since they’ve been accurate a lot of times before. Also crossplay will be for all platforms— PC, PS4, Xbox, Switch and Stadia when the game releases there. Of course mobile is not included.
