Matchmaking with cross play
Is it any better? Or still disadvantageous to both sides often?

Its INSANELY good killer queues are instant by far one of the best things behavior has added i gotta say i didn't expect it to be this good for queues props to the devs also mmr is off so its being based on the emblem system so far im getting red to purples as a red rank so its working pretty well.

Awesome! I just came back to it recently, so I'm back to yellow rank. I can hold my own against greens and above, but usually I'm with pretty low rank survivors who get taken out pretty quickly or disconnect. Glad to hear they have a more competitive balance now

The one problem i have is the optimization difference between console and pc players.

Yeah i can understand that complaint but i wouldn't be to quick to grab your pitchforks just yet im sure behavior is gonna do an optimization patch soon they did promise it and now that crossplay is out thats a shared issue so im sure its gonna jump in priority.

Optimization sucks on pc as well. It's just that if you're playing with a $1500+ rig, you can make it up by having a stronger cpu and gpu.

Before cross play I was getting quick solo survivor queues during the day on ps4. Now I'm waiting around 10 minutes for a lobby. 😒

Did you disable cross-play? Because that's probably your problem, PC playerbwon't bite.

I played 3 games as killer tonight, and matchmaking is like before. i am a rank 14 killer, and get paired against full red ranks every game. I think i stop playing for a while, i have a big backlog of games i wanted to play.

Nope, cross-play is enabled.

So far so good. Its rank reset day. I am rank 5. And the lowest I have had in my lobby is a rank 9. Bearing in mind again it is rank reset.
So its been very good.

Im just saying maybe they should do the optimization first and then drop this because it is def a HUGE advantage on top of the fact that its Keyboard and mouse against all controllers you know?

One advantage is quick queues

Was bumped up to purple after rank reset. First couple lobbies were red/purples, rest of lobbies today have been like this.
