ok, so if cross-play is out then why doesn't Switch get Freddy?
but we can go against him?

if we can go against him then why can't we play has him and get the DLC for him?
ok, I know that there is a Licensing issues but if that is the case then why can you go against him?

because there are issues with his licensing.
once these are solved, you can get him. otherwise the Devs are powerless in that regard.

Licensing issues. The original owner of Freddy's license got the license back. The license they got was for certain consoles and Steam. The license owner lost the rights so they have to renegotiate with the new license holder but if the person chooses not to release their license for BHVR to use, there is nothing they can legally do.

With killer lobby lock you won't be able to go against him. I'm assuming switch matchmaking won't match/won't detect any lobby's with freddy

first around that i played with cross-play I got Freddy and I play on Switch

That's weird then, I would've of thought you could play as him now then. I'm on xbox so I haven't experienced this. Maybe this means freddy will be playable on Switch soon

Maybe cause there's a difference between playing as him and against him in the license agreement?

Without actually seeing the agreement it is hard to say. However the license probably states something to the affect able to produce publish and sell on x y z platform. Since they aren't doing those three being able to play against him on a different platform doesn't really violate those terms.
