So when's post-game chat coming for crossplay?
We could really use it. I can't explain to people why games failed if I can't talk to them. And no, it's not even a being toxic type deal, I just want to tell survivors that do absolutely nothing but generators that you lose games that way if more than one person does it, and even then it's super sketch.

To be honest that's a fair reason to not have it, unless the game supports keyboard text input (so not game input.) Obviously we have no way to check since console has no input fields, I believe. Maybe the report page? I might test that next time I get the chance. Obvs not actually file the report lmao just test to see if the keyboard works.

I think they do have keyboard typing (or at least I was told they do). I'm just a bit pessimistic because even on PC sometimes when you try to be helpful, they can take it the wrong way. The end game chat always feels a bit charged IMO unless both sides were obviously memeing.
To me anyway, It kind of does feel nice that if you wanted to check what the other survivors were using, you aren't going to get berated. But then again, I could always turn off chat in options so wouldn't hurt for it to be enabled for everyone to see regardless of platform.

Why are we directing this guy to an FAQ that doesn't answer his question. All it says is that windows store and steam keep post game chat not if it will be added to other platforms in the future. They don't confirm or deny the feature.

Sucks but i can understand why people don't want it, If only this game wasn't filled to the brim with toxic man children we could have it, but as of now we don't.

Honestly it shouldn't because
- It creates more toxcity
- I'm not waiting 3 minutes for someone on console to reply to me when I can reply in half the time
- By the time they type their message it'll probably time out the postgame chat

To be fair. Xbox at least has An App. With features such as Text AND Voice Chat capabilities. Cant speak for PS players but Windows 10 can communicate also through it.
I dunno about anyone else, but I tend to keep my phone with me. It depends on the person but honestly, who doesn't carry their phone with them anymore.
Use it as a way to comms. Xbox to PC.
Again, can't speak for PS Players.

That the devs having not added into this game a coms application but instead have needs for 3rd party voice chat which the devs have reason not to btw, to do so over what?? I stated that xbox has an app for these. Which also if I'm not mistaken through windows 10 users as said I cant speak of ps players. You should have to invite people to a private party chat in order to verbally communicate with them.
People should be already able to communicate. Like how 99.9% of most multiplayer online games already do.
