Not really dividing the player base. Because crossplay has to be optional - there has to be the option to turn this off.
You could say that by having all the platforms separate, that was dividing the playerbase a lot more.

lmao its actually bringing most of the community together. Now instead of being divided buy what platform you play on, you are divided by your own choice to not want to play with people from other platforms
