Console survivors be a rushing
So far from the games l have played, console killers must just camp like mofos
console survivors seem to rush gens much harder than pc, they don’t care about saving it’s all about the gens.
I just finished a game where l hooked a survivor and they just let him die without me going near him
the only reason l can come up with is they know on console if you go on the hook you must stay there.

LOL, yes - as a PC survivor this has been my experience too. I think it might be the way they've had to play for their platform for whatever reason?

Do you say that based on just a few games?
I've had multiple games that survivors play the same way.

Just wait till there is some camping involved then everyone else will be around the hook doing nothing till the person dies then go back to gens.
I've also had times where i'm watching all 3 people on the same gen while i'm just swinging away with the killer nowhere in sight.

I am a PC player and have been having various matches with other console players. I have not noticed much difference.

No... Not all console killers camp (I don't)
It's console survivors thinking that someone else will get the save (or they assume that the killers camping and don't even try)

Breaking news : Console players are doing the objective.

Had similar experience myself. The killers hook one person and camp. If you try and unhook and take a hit (no BT) they will do anything to get both survivors and then hook one right next to the other and patrol, never leaving to find anyone else.
As for the survivors, mixed bag of only doing gens or just running around the map and crouching in corners just waiting for idk what. They won't heal you or let you heal them. They don't take hits. I was having a hard time getting gens done because I would stop to run across the map to unhook, while watching the aura of another survivor right there crouching.
Mine may also be that i'm low rank, but even when I had a game of purples and a red rank, the play style seemed very different from the PC players I am used to seeing. Maybe there's a reason for it.

Breaking News: Not letting your teammates die on the first hook - kinda part of getting those done. :-) After all it's a team. I realizes while there is no "I" in team there is a "ME" but the me is second when it comes to teams :-p

They are
but that’s not the point, my point is why are they reluctant to save even when the killer is not camping, why lower your odds of finishing the objective by letting someone die
unless they are used to perhaps killers camping.

Lower skilled survivors will wait around
Cause they heard that it's fine to let the hooked survivor hang "a little bit" before going for the save... and I end up either getting two hooked or ded on first hook

Been like that to me in red ranks too. If it's a game full of console survivors, I know it'll be a rush game, their minds is set on "sit on a gen untill it's completed, no matter what". They don't even bother to heal.

Not all console kilers camp but it does feel like the majority do (I'm on PS4). Not only do they camp, they tunnel - at a certian time of the day, I would say it 4 out of every 5 matches where this happens.
Sensible players, knowing the killer is camping, either go in mob handed for a rescue, or leave the person on the hook. I've played in teams where the first one hooked has said the killer is camping, so we just do the gens instead and hope for a chance to rescue - why make it easy for the killer?
Have to say, it's been way better since cross play on both sides of the fence.

Literally had the same thing. I feel like everytime I get console survivors they literally leave me to go to struggle on first hook and also leave me when I help them an insane amount. Just played a game and these teamates were ruthless. They didn't even take hits at the exit.

My anecdotal evidence suggests that console Survivors are actually more altruistic, and love to get in my face and eat knife to prevent the other person from having a second helping of knife.
That's just my luck though. I don't think it's really indicative of a trend.

And here I am, someone who's played on console exclusively since Darkness Among Us, with the exact opposite problem.
I've had so many games where there are 0 generators done because people constantly go for unhooks. It's a region thing more than a platform thing.

As someone who used to play pc but now plays console, I can confirm that survivors on console are less team oriented at least 80% of the time. They mostly care about saving themselves. I try to tank the killer and save my team but I see many other survivors don't do that. I see a lot of stealthies who don't touch gens and crouch to a corner of spine chill goes off. Its frustrating when you're the only one doing gens and being found. I guess console survivors prefer the stealthy selfish play style over the bold looping style.

I play on ps4 I always try save if I can but I do get left on hook sometimes.

You'll get all kinds of survivors in Solo. I've had survivors who'll come for a save at the right time, be careful, and unhook safely, and I've had survivors who didn't come at all and I die on my first hook struggling all the way until the end without anyone even close to unhooking me. Had a match like that today where someone played Streamers. We were against a Bubba, who wasn't a face camper. The fact that he downed another teammate didn't seem to tell my other teammates that, though. And neither did Kindred. Teammates who don't even come for the rescue when its totally safe are worse than face camping bubbas tbh.

Something that I used to see on ps4 was that survivors care less for the killer, like they tend to be more toxic and love abusing stuff like locker ds.
Same can be said about ps4 killers, some are really damn toxic, my msgs on ps4 had to be turned off because of it.
For some reason after I moved to pc, my matches have been more chill, I usually get breathing time but I guess that is just from my experience.
