From my understanding, they did hire a bunch of new devs. The issue lies somewhere between the need to hire and the actual hiring. Maybe the interview process? 🤣

But to be honest, it's not even a Dev issue in that sense. A majority of the Devs in that department of game work are just coding and adjusting what they are told. The issue is in the leadership decision makers.
But to be honest, I enjoyed Deathslinger and Silent Hill. So far, from what I experienced on PTB, this one is not sitting well with me. Add in the perks being a real mixed bag of decent to useless, and the new offering that guarantees a hatch spawn location, and I'm not confident in whomever is making decisions nowadays.

Lol, what? The Deathslinger and Silent Hill are why I came back to the game. They're neat characters. I hate the Silent Hill map, but it looks good.

That's your opinion. I actually like The Blight, He feels every energetic, his speed, and the idea of bouncing to change directions.
He seems to have the speed of old legion. Who I miss very much but they were too broken 😔

His name is uhhh Filly. Billy's sister in the lore. They have one hit down attacks, 120% run speed and can fly. Small cooldown of .002 second (can't be too op).
Full killer control of the match. Can actually go into the menu and remove players doing too well.
Has to be 100% free to prove the devs aren't Communists.

I dunno, I found deathslinger cool as hell, was excited as hell to see pyramid head, and haven't looked into Alchemist enough to decide

I loved the Silent Hill chapter. I love Blight from a lore standpoint but think he needs a secondary ability to help his viability. Death Slinger is very weird. I’m pretty happy with the content in these past 3 chapters. My problem lies with the balancing and bugs.

It's not a guarantee and there's actually a couple new offerings in this patch. If you go to patch notes on the forums they are all listed there.

Deathslinger fit a highly requested trope. A lot of people like Silent Hill. And there's been hype for Vigo ever since that first blight event. It's pretty self centered to assume your personal opinions are so important that it's enough to dictate staffing decisions.
Where did you get that information from? I've heard they don't like hiring new staff that much. Are you talking about the dbd mobile team? Or is there actually new staff for the main version of the game?

Deathslinger is fun to face and play, and his perks are somewhat useful. With that chapter they introduced the breakable wall mechanic and destroyed most of the infinites.
Pyramid head is one of the most popular characters and fits perfectly with dbd and the survivor perks are also extremely powerful. If you are a fan of silent hills you can see how it perfectly matches with the series.
New dlc, phenomenal killer perks, incredible killer design, the survivor is hot af and they introduced nee graphics and animations.
If those are disappointing for you, good for you! I'm just saying that the past 3 chapters introduced a lot of stuff and I personally think that the powers are unique and interesting

Uh no. Imo Silent Hill was the most exciting chapter and it kept me interested in the game. Pyramid Head being added was like a dream come true.
I will say that this new chapter feels a little underwhelming tho. The Blight is interesting appearance-wise, but his power is just... ug.

Probably heard it from SpaceCoconut, that’s where I heard it. Supposedly a new team is establishing dominance and flexing they know what is best and the old team is just disgruntled or becoming subservient despite personally feeling some bad decisions are being made.

@Dehitay McCote made mention of it in one of his interviews within the past year. He mentioned that they did a bunch of dev team hires and that the new people are fitting into the current mold very well. No, I don't have a link since I don't really pay attention to where the interview videos pop up or from whom.

Technically, it only increases the chance of a hatch spawn location. But a realm offering only increases the chance of getting that realm, too. Yet, how often does it not actually happen? In a majority of cases, you're getting that realm. I have no doubt that in a majority of cases, you're getting that hatch spawn location, too.

Deathslinger is really fun and PH is alright, their perks are uninteresting.
Blight's concept is fun but the way it's pulled off is clunky and nothing is more annoying than bumping into thin air.
