Playtest Reset My Rank?
So I just loaded the public test for Blight and when I restarted the game to play it reset my Rank? Is that temporary? I mean I worked my butt off to get down to 10-11 (going back and forth between them) and now I appear to have lost it all?

The PTB uses an older save file. It's normal to have less bp, smaller rank or killer/survivor levels.

Yeah... but does that mean I lost all my forward momentum? Or do I get that back once I'm done testing the Blight? I wish I'd known. I would not have bothered.

PTB uses old saves(like 1/2 weeks before) from the live servers. Progress on PTB doesn't transfer to the live servers, they're separated.

Yes. It's just a test server.

To put it simply, there are 2 save files: one for PTB, one for live. Your live progress is safe.

Yeah... well... how do I get out of it now. I've had enough of play testing. I sat in a lobby for 10 minutes. I want to get back to my regular games. I don't see how to load up my normal files.

Go to the same Option where you enabled the PTB.
Choose the option "None-sign off every PTB" (my steam is in german, so your text might be a bit different)
The download starts automatically then.
