Please don't bring back DC penalty while Hill glitch is still happening.

Penalties are on.

Not even just the hill glitch. In three matches yesterday as Killer I had a survivor jump in a locker. I went for the open-grab but they jumped out (no Head On or stun) and I glitched and got stuck in the open doors. Could not move the rest of the match. Even tried opening the lockers again, which used to work, and I was still stuck afterward.

Well, guess now I get to sit there and look AFK as they finish gens, get no chase or hits or heals, and few BP for their win. I mean, the first match would have just been a 5 minute timeout with the penalties, but that would have escalated with the next two match instances.

Screw that.

Looks like it's a stand off of who DCs first.

I last got it once or twice in the first half of 2019, then started again after crossplay went live for some reason. Until yesterday, I could just open the doors again and check the locker and afterward would be freed. Yeah, it cost me the chase and pressure, but at least I was free.

Except yesterday, even that stopped working for me.

But hey, no worries, we can all buy a new DLC in a few weeks. 😡

DC penalties need to be a thing. Glitches and bugs are always going to be a thing. You can't disable DC penalties every time there is one or they would never be a dc penalty.

I have it on. I'm a PC Killer main and since I bought the game in 2018 my killer queues were always way too long. With crossplay, I get matches anywhere between 30 seconds to two minutes via crossplay in the evenings, and still can't get them without it.

Without crossplay, I'd have to go back to not even having the game installed since Survivor doesn't appeal to me enough to play it as a main side. I honestly only bought the game to play the Icons like Myers, Freddy, and Leatherface. Though, originals like Doc, Oni, and Deathslinger also appeal to me now.

I honestly never endorse hackers, but until they get off their collective asses and fix the collision bugs in this game that get you stuck on all sorts of crap, including pallets, I hope the hackers nail their DC penalty system again.

Exactly. I'm also all for DC Penalties, and have them in games like Overwatch Competitive mode. And agree with them.

But in DbD with all the issues it has that can get you stuck on the environment and unable to play? No. They need to fix their game, first. But this is BHVR, don't hold your breath.

The killer can, yes, but 100% of the times with me they have used it as a free hook if they even got me at all. So either I get exploited or I remain stuck. I'd rather DC and move on.

Yesterday I was playing as clown and after 1 kill the game was not progressing at all. I thought people were hiding in lockers hijacking the game to be toxic... Nope, all 3 were in the hill vortex. I'm guessing 2 got stuck trying to help the first. After a quick "oh mwahahaha" moment, i downed them moved one out just a bit and dropped him, took 1 to the hook on the hill (first hook on him) and took the 3rd as far as I could away till they kicked off. They were very coordinated but not toxic so 2 escaping didn't ruffle me too bad.

I've had this happen with single survivors a couple times and I can always down them and pick them up without getting stuck... I assumed the varied killer move animations kept us safe😬. I guess I better watch out.

Anybody remember what killers they've gotten stuck?

Clown and huntress (and I think deathslinger was the other I used) had no issue.

I suppose you're right. I'll remember this next time a killer gets stuck, too. After all a portion of those were me trying to help them out and getting burned for it.

Yeah, I went up against a Bill this happened to. I downed him and let him wiggle free and then left cuz that ain't fair.

I usually just pick them up and drop them a bit further away and leave them slugged. Those 2 times I let them wiggle they thought I wanted to farm. No bruh lemme play the game

Luckily the dc penalty is very low unless you do it like 4 times, also apparently wiggling and looking around may sometimes get you unstuck

You can get out of it if you rotate in circles using a - d, got me free every time but it can be withing 5 seconds or 3 mins depending on your luck.

it sucks man, i stopped playing this game whenever DC penalties were first a thing. I know they took them out after a while but i already moved on to other games, I recently started playing again last week and now its super annoying it's back.

I can barely play now because my wifi connection is fine at 70-100 ping but i get disconnected sometimes because the router malfunctions. Super unfortunate.
