Series X / PS5 vs Graphics Updates

I'd love to know the plans or roadmap perhaps for DbD going forward. The graphics updates are great, the games getting bigger, looking better than ever and is really becoming something big with the recent crossplay jump. I plan on getting a Series X and know it can handle this game better than most PCs out there so what kind of options will behavior give console players to make the game more fair in the near future. 4k/60 1080p/120 options on the series X or ps5? Is this on you guys at behavior or is this something that needs addressed to Microsoft or Sony?


There's now a very large player base and the game won't sustain it long term if we don't get brought up to snuff because the fps difference is very noticeable and fps dips can literally ruin an entire chase the second that bloodlust stalls the game a second.

    Same I plan on buying a PS5 on launch and it’d be great to know what updates/ optimizations they are planning for next gen.

    We’re only about 3 months away from new consoles so I’m assuming there should be news soon...

    Yeah, I've been waiting for them to address this. Will it be a free upgrade or do we have to purchase the game again? I know xbox have smart delivery.

    I love the game and wanna keep supporting it, but if I'm sitting on my series X with enough power to play better than a large portion of even PC players yet I'm capped at 30 id probably got a different game. I don't wanna play on PC but I feel like the graphics updates coming "soon" are gonna make console struggle more.

    I imagine the game will run on new systems. I don’t think we’re getting a new gen version. Even if we did, it wouldn’t be optimized

    I would just hope that all my progress would carry over to my PS5 from my PS4. But better graphics/frame rate on ps5 would be nice.

    Going from Xbox to one x most of my games fps went to 60 or went 4k etc so to take another huge leap and not atleast give console steady 60 would be a deal breaker to keep playing
