Why do people keep disconnecting?
I've been in three survivor matches now, I'm a rank 5 and have been playing with a friend. Survuours keep disconnecting along with the killer eventually.
Does anyone know why this is happening? I don't understand why.

People are sore losers. I found it worse since crossplay was added. Hopefully the return of penalties will fix that. (and make lobbies faster for survivors with all the disconnecting ones on time out)

I just had 3 dc. 2 right when the game started as soon as they got downed. The 3rd once she realized i wasnt going to just slaughter tge remaining 2 with 5 gens left. Enjoy the penalty morons.

It's stupid, killers disconnect when generators get done within a speed they don't like or something doesn't go their way, survivors disconnect when playing against certain killers. I just played two games were survivors dc within the first minute of the match. This game is going downhill on the game play and I feel like its because of the players themselves. They need to add an actual good enough penalty for disconnecting because its currently not good enough.

Killer lobbies are near instant on here, and survivor ones take a good 2-3 minutes.. so a lot of people would need to be in timeout for it to even out. And for lobbies to take even more forever, more killers would need to be in timeout than survivors, and from my experience, there's more sore loser survivors than killers.

well killer give it time I dced as killer sometime(try not to do it to much when penalties up) and it normally the only time I don't as survivor but survivor can by past the penalties by killing them self on hook so still think DC penalties pointless.

Why play if you're going to disconnect? It ruins the game for everyone.

And if you don't want to have the penalty on killer you can just let them genrush you and go open one of the gates yourself. You'll spend the same 5 minutes, but end up with bloodpoints instead of a timeout and 0 points.
Honestly, the rare few times I disconnected on purpose was when I got tunneled off hook twice in a row and the killer went around the other survivors to go straight for me, and I decided I had played enough for the night and just went to bed. I don't recall ever having a bad enough killer game that I disconnected. I had bad games where there was no way I could win, but I still tried my best and sometimes ended up with a kill or two in the end.Or they just won so fast it allowed me to move on to the next match and enjoy myself more.

Killer DC does not ruin your game with killer dcing does nothing to survivors they just go right back to the lobby to start new game not like survivors dcing where your stuck getting the game done with 3vs1 or 2vs1 with the penalty back give it time survivors just start killing them self on first hook to by past penalty where killers are stuck in the game.
enjoy you DC penalty replace DC with bot wold be better.

A fair share of the people playing DBD are sore losers that can't accept that they need to improve. A lot of them DC due to their own mistakes. They get caught super quick, or early and think the game is over. So they just DC or give up on hook. Playing solo survivor is just not worth it at this point. Too many people DC and give up on hook.

Didn't necessarily mean to go afk. You can just give half-assed chases, or tunnel one guy while the other genrush. If you go afk, they'll try to farm and make the game longer than if you chase people around without pressuring generators.

yea that will be fun most games sweat team this is from a killer who think 2k is a good game hell I'm ok with a 1k can't win them all it's the 0k they t bag at the gate pisses me off,but when 3 gen pop before the first hook that not fun why i run noed sometime but they take it out soon i hit the first person with it they save them DS BT bodyblocking to gate Ive dc after all gen been done i got that mad.
like i said dc is only going to hurt killers because survivor know how to by pass it.
