DBD on PS5 and XBOX SERIES X
So it’s unofficial that it’s coming to these consoles yet but it is in the coding for Dbd and BVHR just hinted at it in a tweet.
This makes me wonder if these new graphics we are getting are mainly for the next gen consoles and not for current gen consoles.
What I mean by that is I think they are kind of giving up on their vision of 60FPS on current consoles and are probably going to focus on next gen performance while maintaining current consoles for the time being. Similar to GTA V. As soon as it released on PS4 and One X the ps3 and 360 versions just got abandoned.
If they can get a consistency of 60 FPS on console then I would be happy. I’m getting a ps5 anyways but I hope they can workout the horrid performance on current consoles.

Obvious theory is obvious.

yeah it's most likely going to happen, Im just hoping that xbox allows me to use smart delivery for the series X version of the game, that way I don't have to pay for the game again.

If I can retain all of my progress and DLC's, then I'm cool with moving over to the series X after prices lower and some new games come out for it.

They'll allow that option about 6 months after it release. Just enough time for people to cave and start playing anew.

Theyre currently working on cross progression but only for switch and PC. And maybe XBOX and PC but not ps4. But I’m sure if an Xbox or ps user upgrades their console within the same family then the cross progression should work just like it did on GTA V

Well the Series X is already confirmed to have no launch exclusives from what I've been told so there's no point in rushing into it.

it's account linked for ps4, I highly doubt they'll transfer ps4 data to ps5 at first. I beg the devs to prove me wrong..

I look forward hopefully to a stable framerate on next gen. I'll finally be able to use my blight cosmetics without forfeiting the match :)

I don't know that they'd have any reason to release a specific PS5 version either, chances are that would bring up the same issues Switch had with currently licensed stuff.
