hyped for the new killer, watched every video I could find analyzing the perks, addons and mori. Thought of what would and wouldn't work in terms of perk combinations.... but no, not this time. Im not falling for the hype anymore. After the hype of a new killer, map ,and perks get played out, it's just back to the SAME boring garbage fire. If a killer looks too good to be true, and has strong perks in the ptb, it usually is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. They'll nerf him once they get your money. They'll listen to the survivor playerbase. These are the same devs that thought Billybilly and nurse's power needed a cooldown. These are the guys who think breakable walls are a fresh new mechanic that spices up gameplay. These...are the guys who refuse to ever shift the meta. You don't have to agree with me and thats fine, just a lil reality check. Have fun paying for more cosmetics!

    I mean, I respect you opinion, but maybe at least wait until it's fully released before raising the pitchforks? Also, no arrow to the knee joke? I'm disapointed 😶

    Billy's cooldown barely comes into effect and Nurse was the most spammable killer AND broke the game by being able to blink onto you regardless of what you do. Just saying.

    Also, they've already said that the killer in the PTB isn't even the killer they are working with internally. On top of that, every PTB-to-live release since Deathslinger has been fine, and even Oni got rebuffed so he was closer to PTB Oni. The only unfair thing I can remember is The Tragedy Of Gearhead, RIP.

    I dont think they could nerf this killer. Rumors are hes already been buffed were just not seeing the latest version in ptb.

    Killer's getting a buff. He'll be a bit strong after that and they will slightly tune him down to a better spot. Take oni for example. He's in a good spot right now.

    Hyped? I've always been cautiously optimistic. The only ones that I have been hyped for are Oni and Pyramid Head, but then again I started in Darkness Among Us.


    I've also heard rumours that the PTB version of the Blight is outdated. From what I've seen of him from others, he looks like he was designed closer to what DbD originally was. Not that his power's bad, but it seems so outdated compared to everything else we have.

    This is a little melodramatic but I'll agree I've learned my lesson about buying new characters right away. They definitely have a "habit" of releasing new characters with really strong perks just to nerf them in a month or two, which just coincidentally happens to be after most people who would buy the DLC has bought it...

    They won't nerf him once they get my money because the joke's on them. I paid cash for all previous DLCs. This is the first DLC in my time with DbD that I will just use shards to get the Killer, and only for his perks. But not at launch. I'm not stupid and BHVR has shown their methods too many times. I'll wait until maybe November or so to see how badly they screw-up his perks, first. Because trust me, they will. Oooooh, they will.
