Yeah, it's a nightmare but ThEiR job Is To KiLl. People can easily pip without a single kill, but those 4 skulls at the end screen are apparently more important than actual fun.

1) Play Legion for starters. Slow the game as much as possible, and get 8 hooks with 2 on each survivor.
2) There are SO MANY killers who focus more on kills than actually playing the game of pips.

But with 8 hooks you'll only get bronze for devout emblem, which means you'd need all of the other 3 to be iridescent to pip at red ranks, its possible, but I definitely wouldn't say it's easy

And no, killers will face camp for no reason. It happens all the time. I played around 7 games a couple days ago and 5 out of those 7 the killer face camped with 4 gens or more left. Killer mains will never understand uncalled for camping and tunneling. Its far too often.

When I play killer, I prefer to think of it as being a hunter. I prefer the hunt, I prefer the chase, I find the kill to be a reward for doing repeatedly well on a chase.
I expect nothing from this game, so take your entitlement and shove it somewhere else.

For some people, yes. I've always been more of the type to follow the pip system as a judgement of how well I did.
I couldn't care less if I died, as long as I played well. It's about HOW not IF.

I'm a killer and face camping sucks. No fun for killer or survivors. Just feel content that face campers suck at their job (at least with the killer they're running that day). The only time its acceptable is if the camped survivor was teabagging mid chase. If you're that sure you won't get caught, you better back it up or else we'll make sure you die

No the majority of killers camp and tunnel. That's just fact. Read some more forum posts or play survivor long enough, you'll see. They call it strategic. But GG on trying to make it seem less than what it actually is by downplaying it as bots. And survivors have to play sweaty with how killers play. Y'all don't understand that that's a byproduct of y'all's playstyle.

Really? I've only been camped once and tunneled twice in my entire time playing this game, I guess I just get very lucky if the majority camp and tunnel.

Technically you are right, but as a killer main i can say that most people do it for the sake of toxicity. I don't camp or tunnel, nobody at my rank camps and tunnels, but i'm rank 6 so I guess that's expected.
Most killers with half a brain know that camping/tunneling will only lose you the match, so most of them are either desperate or just toxic.
but you're right, most killers do camp/tunnel, which is honestly really sad.

I'm always shocked when people say things like this. It always just seems an excuse to run meta perks. I've been in a lot of situations where my team tells me I'm getting facecamped and tunelled when in reality I'm mostly just getting farmed while my teammate stealths away.
It's like if the killer procs kindred, they are a facecamping tunnelling moron.

Currently trying to have fun with a meme build (which includes Any Means Necessary and Diversion so you can imagine how meta it is lol) but struggling to do so because I'm constantly getting tunneled and/or moried after my first hook. Guess it's my fault for playing with sweaty meta perks-oh ######### hold on. I am not!

the killers i go up against hook you somewhere and then just stand there. Every other survivor is just chilling on the other side of the map. They are doing REAL camping. Not this "you exist on the map therefore you're a camper" crap. I just want to have fun with my mettle of mither build. but i cant bc i have to dedicate perk slots to these boring AF meta perks

I don't record my matches. I've been playing for years and it's just my experience. I try to play fair and not bully killers but still I'll loop a leatherface a little too long and he devotes himself to camping me till I die cause he didn't want to peal off and wasted his time on me. Its happened far too often for me to count sadly.

That is your opinion based off of your experiences which is as valid as anyone else's BUT its not a fact so please don't say it is.
Simply from my experiences in the game I rarely if ever get tunneled(Even by ebony mori users(Which I can run into 20 in a day because of my bad luck)) and get camped even less often(Survivors being dumb and swarming the hook/not letting the killer leave don't count for either since that's survivor caused).

Well, my opponents don't seem to care about my fun when I'm playing killer, thanks to ######### MM I get demolished then called a racial slur for my trouble by four other players. I think it's about time both parties have a clear and updated discussion on the honor codes killers must follow when playing the game or perhaps discuss changes to the game, I think that works better than the constant shaming in the forums. Your issue is with the unclear and weird winning conditions in the game, not killers.

I believe all the whining in the forums are players not understanding Dead by Daylight as a concept. You have counter plays for tunneling and camping. I hate bodyblocking, but the developers have provided a means for me countering it. It's more so the developers hiding these counterplays behind perks you either have to spend ages grinding for or paying for them. Yes, it's a tactic. Whether it's a fun one or not is to be debated.
You're also wrong about the forums, you'll be humiliated if you camp or tunnel here. Tell them you're a killer than run NOED then look at the reactions. The forum posters reactions depend on your posts, really. If I make a thread discussing my gripes with let's say SWF, I expect to get the same responses you'll see in any other post.

Really? I’ve been face camped 2 out of 3 games tonight alone. Solo queue Rank 1 getting matched with Rank 10-12. Can’t get too mad about the fresh ones though

Pretty much the reason I run DS & BT. Every time I run a different build I end up getting camped, tunnelled or I feel helpless against my teammate getting camped.
If you find camping the hooked survivor fun than that’s fine by me.
If you camp and tunnel not caring for others fun than don’t complain about the bully SWF’s that you come across, ThEy ArE jUsT hAvInG fUn, right?

Oh yeah, when I was thinking how the highest devout you could get was bronze with 8 hooks I wasnt even thinking of the fact you're basically ######### in gatekeeper too if everyone is going to survive.
