I wish Plague would finally get some new cosmetics that aren't recolors
What the title says. I've seen some of the more recent announcements/leaks and there's still no trace of any original content for our favorite vommy mommy. It's been half a year now since she last received one (the maggot infested one) and so far nothing.

Can we also talk about how most of her outfits are also more or less just restyles of her default?
Like, she doesn't have anything that drastically changes her overall look.
There's no cool armor for her; no silly cat masks or fun Mad Max inspired outfits; no badass outfits where she's on fire or looks like a terrifying monster.
It's mostly just ornate and flashy dresses that show off her cysts and discolored skin.
And I mean, like, I get that her lore is that she's an ancient priestess infected with a horrible disease, but does that mean all of her outfits need to be so similar?

I guess what I'm trying to say is that her outfit selection feels a bit uninspired, because sometimes it feels like I'm the only one who thinks this.

When I saw her for the first time I was like "Medusa cosmetic" or somethijg akin to it. I want it so bad, but its unlikely😓

My issue is less that all her outfits convey her as a respected and devout priestess from before the advent of geometry, and more that her outfits literally look more or less the same (save for her two Rare Outfits where she's wearing like a full robe that also covers her face - and those outfits released when she did).

That said, I don't get what's so great about her outfits all portraying the same character. IMO Trapper only benefits from outfits that let him look like a deep sea zombie, a crazed miner, or a Mad Max villain.
Why can't Plague get an outfit that gives her inhuman claws and scales, with a headress that looks like a giant snake head and a censor that looks like a coiled serpent?
Or an outfit that turns her into a ghostly glowing skeleton; vomit spewing from her mouth like ectoplasm? With her headdress being a long veil that trails behind her and her censor being a human skull with a bone chain that wraps around a not-entirely-existent ghost arm?
Why can she only be a semi-nude extremely diseased woman in ostentatious clothing?

Those are some really neat ideas and I wish BHVR would take them to heart. I also think that she lacks diversity when it comes to various styles, all of her previous outfits are really just variations of her regular self (Adiris). We really could use something entirely new for her. It's beyond me why she was omitted from the Mythic collection. Meanwhile Spirit gets yet another skin...

Totally agree. Plague has an amazing design, I was really hyped for her when I first saw her on the PTB, I was talking to my friend the whole time "Man, she looks so good". And it is true, Plagues basic design looks great and IMO she has one of the best Prestiges in the game.
But as you said, all of her Cosmetics look quite uninspired. Its always Plague.
I guess you cannot do that much to her, because she is such an old character. But there were some Plague Cosmetics which caught my eye in the Design Contest and they were not out of space at all. Maybe I can find one of them, but overall, yes, she could get some variation in her Cosmetics.

Yea exactly; there's nothing wrong with her base look - and the cosmetics she has look good - but they're not that different.
As for the contest, 100% agree that she definitely had some cool submissions:

I'd love to see some cosmetics which make her look prettier, maybe even a set of skins depicting the killers in a more human way (before their corruption). I'm sure almost everyone has seen skemooo's concept of that already:
If they ever decided to make this a legendary skin I'd buy it in heartbeat.

I only run her P3 because I think the rest is pretty bad. This is why I wanted her to win the cosmetic contest.

Especially considering that plague has amazing cosmetic potential, which bhvr has proven. They're just too lazy to give her a good unique skin I suppose.

I was really sad that a Claudette and Legion set won, don't get me wrong, the artists did an amazing Job, but I would have liked it if a cosmetic for the less popular characters (with fewer outfit choices ingame) had won.

They might be really different, but Trapper has a ######### Sea Monster Skin, so why can't Plague have something different?

I really want a Plague cosmetic with long hair like before she became Plague, except for maybe some parts of it missing...so she still looks scary.
