Whats your experience of "dropping rank"/

Not about mmr, is about personal rank system. You escape alone, with a 200iq way, you drop rank. You get 4ks with an incredible skills, you drop rank. I know how rank doesn't indicate your skills now. I cam get face camped by a bubba and drop rank, my rank can dropped by dc teammates, fix the rank system. Whats your experience?

    I never got depip after escaping or getting 4k. Don't know which option to choose, because I did get lots of depips, after being tunneled/camped, Moried off first hook and just being worse than my opponent. Don't really care about ranks, though, so depiping is not a big deal for me.

    And fixing rank system won't prevent you from getting people who facecamp and DC. It's players' choices, not BHVR's fault.

    2 games in a row I died on the first hook and depiped, only because UE Claudettes.

    I doubt that you can depip as killer getting 4k unless you use a mori or run tombstone Myers. However, you can simply get Brutal Killer and not pip even though you killed three or even four survivors. Normally, this only happens to me when I am playing some killers, these being Pig, Ghostface and Plague. I don't know why but these killers have more of a difficult time ranking than others do.

    In my opinion, the rank system is broken and makes absolutely no sense with the game, but that's a discussion for another thread.

    Being moried off the first hook is my new hobby apparently.

    This poll really needs an "all of the above" option though. The only one that hasn't happened to me is the "I got multiple kills and depipped", I have 4Kd and not pipped nor depipped, but I've never depipped after getting multiple kills.

    Honestly, it's pretty hard to de-rank imo, the only times it really happens is after getting camped, morid, or a teammate DCing. For killer though, it's usually after a really good 3-4 man wrecks me, haven't had this happen since crossplay though.

    I always bring Iron Will because of Spirit, and always bring DS because having no obsession is equal killer tunneling everybody...
