I wonder if this is a thing made on purpose to confuse players or is there any chance that will be changed in the future?

i noticed that so to troll i brought better together in my build after pyramid got released

Probably a troll job by the devs. Same with new Franklin's. They banned people for dropping items with old Franklin's and then dc'ing so the item was gone. Then, they changed it into an actual mechanic.

It was definitely intentional on their end.
It’s a shame though because Better Together was hardly even used & now you’re just better off not running it so you don’t confuse your team.

Honestly for solo q Better together was good, cause it gave you infos on other survivors exactly when you needed them so you knew if you had to leave a gen and make the unhook or not. Are you sure it is intentional? Or it is just an assumption?

Intentional in the sense that red auras are default for gens, white gens means it’s blocked/no progress is being made and yellow gens = perk related effect.

Why is this such a bad thing? I consider it my primary source of entertainment as killer to screw with survivors' febrile little brains. And it's not like skilled survivors can't turn the table with perks like Diversion, Red Herring, Quick and Quiet, Dance With Me, Head On, Mettle of Man, and Saboteur (just to name a few). Not to mention all the crazy gimmicks and techs that people learn from streamers and youtubers.
This game is at its best when both sides are mindgaming the other, not just running circles around pallets on autopilot for 10 minutes. Learn to love the chaos.

I'm curious to know if despawning an item with Franklins would make a survivor lose it even if they bring a white ward.
If so, that would be... totally awesome. Too bad about that insta-heal mate. It's mounted on my wall now.

real problem is adding an aura to trail anyways since it has a Cooldown anyways but ehh running surveillance removes the aura so it’s all good

You lose it cause the white ward explicitly says "if you die you don't lose it" doesn't say anything about dropped items
