To the killers taking advantage of hill glitch
Stop. It is easily reportable and I'm sure the devs are aware. Stop this garbage and help people if you see them stuck. You're making the game worse than it already is.

Sure it sucks but just because you get stuck on it, it doesnt mean the killer have to let you escape. Its not his fault + its his job to kill you guys.

They're downing the people and hooking them. It's not their fault if they didn't realize this garbage was still happening. This is not entitlement on my part. It's the killer taking advantage of an exploit, a reportable offense. Look it up. Please don't sit here and accuse the person trying to make it known that this is reportable and people should help out instead of going for an easy down. You're part of the problem.

You say i shouldnt accuse you but then accuse me that i kill the people who get stuck there. It only happened 1 time so far but i didnt kill him and even then, theres nothing wrong about it.

They are taking advantage...of a glitch. What do you not understand about this? And why are you typing so furiously about it? What's wrong with YOU? Have some empathy to the situation. People getting stuck in the hill is not their fault. It IS the fault of the killer when they take advantage of the situation and hook the person, especially if they're the last one. It's an easy kill, it takes no effort, and it's not the fault of the survivor for getting stuck. What makes you think people have the time to consider that ONE point on the map while being chased or trying to avoid being chased? You are being such an ironic person. :/

Its not a exploit or bannable offense, its the killers job to kill you and its not his fault if you get stuck there.
Btw did you made threads when the killer got stuck between pallets and claimed that every survivor will get banned now because they didnt help the killer?

It is a bug abuse. You could at least hit him twice, down him, pick him up and put him down outside of the bug area. You get a free down, you get someone else off a gen to heal him up for free and you don't know how much time this survior already wasted being stuck there. That's what I do and whay I get from most killers when someone on my team got stuck. It is simply fair play.
Although I wouldnt do that for people that tbagged me before. Feels good to see these guys stuck and slowly bleed out...
Anyway, as much as I love a-holes being stuck, maybe try this. Hope it helps anyone. Let me know pls when anyone saw this video and it helped him get out:

Ya know i understand you guys points and i would also help them get free, but you shouldnt call them ,,exploiter" or whatever just because he kills them. There is NOTHING wrong with it. He didnt cause it. Its his JOB to kill the survivors and just because he get stuck and the killer didnt help, doesnt mean he is complete garbage or should get banned.

I wouldn't say killers downing and hooking a survivor stuck in the hill bug abuse.
What would be bug abuse would be the killer intentionally leaving a bugged survivor stuck in the hill as the survivor is effectively out of the game making it easier for the killer to win.

A free down doesn't do much. I typically do this myself, unhook and put down outside the stuck. however the killer taking valuable time out of his game to help someone stuck, with absolutely no benefit kinda sucks. if the killer is expected to "fix this bug" then all of the survivors should stand in place until he moves the player. because it can easily be seen as the other survivors taking advantage and abusing the bug. Also don't tea bag at the gates and be toxic in endgame chat when the killer does help like this, which has happened to me twice.

Question, so if it is bannable, would that mean the the survivor knew about it in the first place? And if so why go up on the hill? And what if they got stuck on purpose. I saw this yesterday (The stuck part, not on purpose I think) until I came to the forums I thought he was just afk. I downed and hooked him, but had no idea

Saw a steve stuck there today so i just picked him up and plopped him down. btw he still died

downs dont help much? sooo... why is slugging such a big thing? As I said, it is a 5 second down, giving you 2 survivors off gens for like 30+ seconds

If the killer didn’t hook you, you’d bleed out instead. So it doesn’t make a difference.

You cant get banned for it, I mean I usually just down them and carry them out of the glitch spot and drop them down.
But still its not the killers fault, its also not the survivors fault. This is a mistake on behaviours side.
If I get a bug as a nurse that I cant use my blinks anymore, do the survivors have to let me down them? No, they will just keep running away and basically take advantage of it, but they still did nothing wrong.

and why is this the killers responsibility. the other survivors all benefit from the killer wasting time giving up a down. if you were chasing the survivor for 30+ seconds and then they get stuck you think its fair to expect killers to just junk all that time?

I've only seen it twice. In both cases their teammates came up to point in a direction for me, even after hitting them, so I followed them and lo and behold, dude stuck in a rock. Weird thing is I've only seen it twice, and both within the span of an hour with different teams, both desperately trying to help their teammate.
I downed both, picked them up, let them wiggle off, went to a nearby corner, waited for them to heal, and counted to 15 or something, can't remember exactly. Then I made sure they knew it was game on as usual. I didn't suffer any catastrophic losses due to helping them, and if it hurts you that much to give someone a fair chance who clearly got stuck in the terrain because of a bug BHVR left in, you care about winning a little too much.
You obviously don't have to let them go, and I'm sure they're happy to be unstuck even if you do hook them, but why not try being a little nice every once in a while? It ain't gonna kill you.

I was playing a match as killer the first time i saw this bug and two survivors got stuck, i helped them get away of the corner and continue the match. Is unfair that one match goes to hell when things like this are happening in the game...
In a match as survivor i got hooked because of this with 3 crows on me. Yes, "he abused that bug" but i don't care because is not his fault that these bugs are happening.
This should not be bannable because is not anyone fault that this bug exist, the devs should fix it inmediately instead of getting out new skins everyday.

- Hopefully they'll hot fix it, I'm a killer main and I've never gotten stuck next to the hill but I feel bad for the survivors who do.
- What WOULD be reportable is if the killer intentionally just left them stuck as the last survivor until they were forced to DC. But downing them and hooking them? Nah, I doubt it. It's not the killer's fault if someone gets stuck there. At least if you down them and carry them out and/or hook them they're not stuck any more.
- Personally the one time I've seen it happen in my own game I downed the guy, picked him up and dropped him away from the hill then went off after other people for a while. I figured I'd at least give him and his team a fighting chance. (The guy ended up dying later anyway, he was kind of the weak link on the team I think, but oh well, at least I tried to throw the minnow back in the pond. 🤷♂️)

is it fair for a killer to sacrifice a long chase just because the survivor gets stuck at the end? its not fair for anybody but its not an exploit or bug abuse.

Ummm if we don't down you and pick you up, you stay stuck in that hill until we do. There is no other way for you to get out that I know of. I'm usually nice and choose NOT to Stalk up on you when I'm playing Myers and then I pull you out and hook you and let someone get the save. If there is another way for you to get out of the hill, let us know. :)

I had another survivor reported me for being stucked at hill.
I died on 1st hook because he refused to unhook me. Because I was being useless.
For Killer, I dont mind getting a hook ifI stucked. But killer took advantage at me being stucked as he did nothing to me and use it as 1v3 game.

why is the killer expected to fix a bug? if the killer has been chasing someone for 30+ seconds and then they get stuck should they just eat that time? are the other survivors not exploiting the game when they continue to do objectives while the killer is playing bug fixer forgoing a down to be altruistic? you are wrong about it not being the fault of the survivor, when it first came out sure, but everybody knows now about the hill glitch running right there is absolutely their fault, its not the killers fault. the fact is IF the killer decides to down and drop out of the glitch you should be singing their praises eternally grateful for their benevolence.

Reminds me of the old basement glitch where survivors literally couldn't see or escape the basement if they were hooked there, and killers constantly abusing it with agitation builds, and defending their exploiting of the glitch. Good times...

l had a deathslinger see me stuck in it and he just left me there all game while walking past me multiple times, as soon as my teammates escaped he came back and killed me. Its a shame cause when l play killer and see people stuck there l always down them, pick them up and let them wiggle off. How can you be happy killing a player that literally cant move??? thats just scummy imo

The only people to blame are the devs who still haven't a released a fix for that mess.
The un-nicest thing a killer could do would be to completely ignore the survivor stuck on the hill to the very end, and that is still not reportable.

It’s not an exploit, and exploit is usually something you have to go out of your way to do. If a killer somehow forced you into the hill intentionally (which I don’t think is something possible) then sure it would be an exploit.
but you just getting stuck in hill doesn’t count as the killer abusing anything, you shouldn’t expect them to bother picking you up and dropping you after you got yourself stuck in a ######### glitch.
getting glitches =/= the other team has to throw the game or ban

- Bug in game -> Devs do not fix it -> report Killer
- Killer downs survivor and hook him -> report Killer
- Killer ignores stucked survivor -> report Killer
- Killer got stuck -> it's killer's fault -> report Killer because of AFK
Man, this game is so hard to play for Killers and they are not allowed to do their jobs due to "Survivor's rule book" 😂

Idk if its an exploit or not but its 100% a dick move. The LEAST you could do is down tgem and pull them away from it then leave them slugged.

Also, maybe you guys should quit excusing exploitative behavior and instead encourage the developers to get on a fix for this instead of releasing more skins. Might be more fruitful. I play killer too but you'll never catch me doing this stuff.

I always intentionally free the person and never kill. Even during EGC, I will escort you to the Hatch or Gate. Just had a poor Nea DC when I hit her. I wasn't going to even hook her.

This kinda reminds me of the glitch on the harvesters on the farm maps where the killers couldn’t hit a survivor if they were standing on the hay bales.
No matter what you say, some people are going to take advantage of a situation.
Survivors would t-bag a killer on the hay bales and killers are gonna hook stuck survivors, that’s just the way it goes.

Lmfao.... ha... let me ask you this. If a killer had a glitch where he couldnt move or anything, unless he downed a survivor, would a survivor come over and let him down you? Didnt think so. So stop acting like killers *have* to help survivors out the glitch. They do not. Sure it can be a dick thing to hook and kill that survivor. But a killer does not have to help said survivor. Get off your high horse.

Sure, I don't mind helping. But around 90% of the time, I see survivors running to gens to finish them or heal a health state or unhook their buddy while I try to help their team. In those cases I stop and just leave you there until I down the whole team, throw two on hook and let two survivors reset. And I do this because more often then not, survivors will do what they can to get an advantage even if it means being toxic.
Had a game where a survivor got stuck and I only had 2 gens left but 3/4 survivors were on last hook. In the middle of a chase I saw a guy was stuck. Hit him twice and continued my chase because I would lose both gens if i stopped to pick up. When I came back, 3 survivors were now stuck. I stopped to help and then suddenly I heard the guy I was chasing healing behind a wall, even though he knew I stopped to help. I had no faith that he was going to just stay there while I help his 3 friends and decided to hook him.I start helping his friends out and the first one that gets free, runs quickly to unhook his friend. I get a 2nd survivor free and realize what he is doing. I go over to the hooked survivor, shake my head no, give warning swings because one survivor is still stuck and he still goes to unhook with borrowed time. In the end I 3K and walk together with the first stuck survivor to hatch. Then in post game I got called all sorts of names, was told I was terrible and I only won because I took advantage of the hill glitch... so now, you get what you deserve.

This game is starting to get on my nerves not only did I have to face 4 Moris in a row but I got stuck in a hill because my teammate sandbagged me and I get downed put in the basement and tunneled to get moried again.... Why does this stupid glitch even exist?

As a survivor, I got stuck at that hill too many times. As a killer, when I see a survivor there, I will slug them, pick them up, then let them wiggle free and chase someone else. I don't feel like its fair for a survivor to get hooked because of a glitch.
Now if the survivor was teabagging me and being an #########, I leave them there.

@OldHunterLight if you are looking at the ramp up to a hill, there are rocks on the right side. You can get stuck by walking close to the rock in multiple places. I have even gotten stuck on the hill near the top of the rock, close to the edge.
