Same, I'm red rank survivor and I do fine. I've also somehow made it to red rank killer and I get wrecked constantly lol I shouldn't be red rank, I hope a decent working mmr gets implemented

As a rank 1 killer allow me to assure you that this fairly common and is not at all cause to be alarmed. Killers almost always have a chance to mount a comeback, even when the gens are done and the gates opened.
It's worth remembering that at the start of the match you will have 4 healthy survivors with 7 different gens they could be working on. You'll almost always lose the first 1-2 (or even 3) gens pretty quickly. But as the match continues and you get more and more injures and downs and hooks, survivors will need to spend more and more time rescuing and healing each other. This means less time spent doing gens. And with fewer gens left you'll be spending less time patrolling for survivors and can create map pressure more easily.
Don't get dismayed! Keep your cool and get busy murdering. Win or lose, the rest will sort itself out.

I know it’s messed up but last time they had the penalty for dc’s off I purposely dc'd to derank back to yellow. I only have 300 hrs in game and was going against sweaty ass rank 1 killers with 1000’s of hrs that would straight destroy me. I’m sticking around rank 10 right now and I find the majority of my matches are pretty balanced in terms of skill between me and the other survivors and killer. It’s way too easy to make it to red ranks and I knew damn well I didn’t belong a rank 1. I really wish they wouldn’t have mucked up the mmr system so badly. I think it would greatly benefit players that feel the same as me.

i would recommend the perk corrupt intervention a plague teachable that blocks the 3 thurvest gens for 2 minutes
most of the time survivors spawn on the opposite side of the map and by blocking the gens near them they have to come towards you to find a gen or they will faff about looking for totems and chests whilst waiting for corrupt to wear off it makes getting a foot hold early in a match a lot easier.

Yeah, you have some games of that. You just finished a chase and the other three people were on one gen each. Depending of the map / killer and if you can still do the 3-gen-strat you can still win, but it's more common that you get one or two in the end. But you are on a clock and pressured to get things done and nobody wants that that early.

It can happen if your first chase is poor and you lack pressure but the game is by no means over.

If you reached rank 7 you aren’t a noob, you at least have a bunch of hours in the game and some measure of skill. Why should rank 20 survivors have to go against you, they just want a game against a brand new killer, deal?

Are you checking survivor profiles, are you implying all of them are thousand hour players? If those survivors have approx 100 hours in game as well isn’t that a fair match?
i think getting to rank 7 as killer took at least 10-ish hours and that’s assuming you Pipped every game... maybe it took less if you double pipped, but either situation would seem to support that you are right where you should be.

Survivor's only objective is gens. First minute into the game, what should they do ? Just randomly crouching everywhere or stay AFK ? gosh this killer biased community even defend this. You guys are lame

I had a game recently on Ormand, less than 4 minutes in and 4 gens had been popped. I still killed them all. Never give up hope or get overly discouraged. It isn't over until the survivors are outside that exit gate/in the hatch.

This is why the term Genrush feels so overused. Had a killer who spent the first 3 minutes chasing someone, literally ran about 10 meters from me on a gen and ignored me, then complained in endgame that we gen rushes... uhm we weren’t being chased, had nobody to unhook or heal, WHAT should we have done???

The game need more objectives , maybe find a key into a locker ... And with that key turn on the gen and start to repair ... Something like that ... But they repair in 4 minutes

I think dropping repair time down from 80 to 70 or even 60 seconds, now hear me out, would actually work IF they had to find a part first and the part was somewhat far from the key. This means they wouldn’t have to hold M1 longer, actually shorter, but there was a much greater chance of interacting with the killer at the start

That’s weird, if they’re doing 3 gens in 1 minute and obliterate him then would t he naturally be Depipping? Who’s to say the survuvors he’s going against ARENT the same skill? A great many killers think if they’re equal skill that means a 4k... and a great many survivors think equal skill means an escape every game... neither of those is true.
I played killer at red and usually get 2 kills, sometimes none and sometimes 4 so it seems I’m at the right spot even though I don’t think I’m great.

It happened, they got overly altruistic while also not picking good spots to heal at due to me having Nurses. And they started dropping. I've had plenty of games like that, but I don't save videos when I play. I have the recording feature off to save frames.

I feel like this post just got completely blown off and it deserves love because it's 100% true.
As a killer, I fully expect 2-3 gens to be done and if I'm on pace, I expect to have one hook done. Anything more than that is just playing with House money. I'd say more on it but then I'd basically just be repeating your exact post so I'm not going to bother :D

People already told you what to do and you even gave yourself the solution in your first post. So go ahead and keep losing until you get back to your low rank.
Since you're losing already without going out of your way to do so I'm sure it shouldn't be much of an issue.

The game isnt over after a rough start...proxy camp that hook and tunnel the first surv you downed. Get them out of the game asap...BT? Just follow and hit them again. Luckily the worst players i.e. the ones most likely to be hooked first and tunneled are also the least likely to run DS. They are running self care and urban evasion and ######### instead. Funny how that works. Turning a 4v1 into a 3v1 is the best way to turn things around.

Three gens done during/after your first chase is the standard scenario. It depends though...if the first survivor chased hasn´t reached a basic level of skill it´s possible that fewer gens get done. If the first survivor chased is good and you don´t realise that soon enough it could very well be more!

My personal favorite is when you're running Discordance and you see 2 yellow gens 10 seconds in to the map loading, because without even any offerings, 2 sets of 2 survivors spawned on top of different gens. GG BHVR!! a PrEtTy GoOd JoB So fAr

Why I'm rank up if im a noob ? Tell me ?where are the good survivors ... I only find palets campers, genrushers , and hide from the killer ... Repair gens don't need skill, hiden from the killer doesn't need skill , camping palets doesnt need skill , tell where are the good survivors ? Repair 5 gens in 4 minutes , that means you are the best survivor ?

The good survivors are apparently everywhere for you given how you're struggling at rank 7.
You seriously just complained about survivors hiding from you? Ya..... duh! I'd hide too, and if you found me then here goes the chase.
I've already told you that if rank 7 is too much for you to handle then go ahead and lose until you're back at rank 17 or whatever.
I will say however that you didn't just somehow end up at rank 7. It must have been easy enough for you to get there then it should be easy enough for you to go back.

Honestly after about a month of play time i can honestly say as a killer it feels near impossible. Ive played survivor as well and it seems so much easier. I just feel that as a new player how am i getting matched against these teams that have a generator down by the time i can even walk accross the map? Like the matches are over in about 5 min and im lucky if i even hit a person...its just so frustrating.
