Cross play was a god send
Originally I thought it qas going to be dog #########, but ever since its become active im getting into games so much faster, the names of some pc players are hilarious and I haven't really came across any tunneling killers or useless team mates.
I play on PS4 with a friend, its the two of us SWF and two randoms and we have been getting a pretty high escape rate.
How are you all getting on with Cross play?

For me (PC), player skill has been hit or miss (both survivors and killers), but queue times are definitely better.
Endgame chat is lonely, though.

We don't get and end game chat on console, it would have been a good addition if you could speak to the people even on different platforms, would make it a much more immersive experience

I still take a good amount of time to get in as a solo. Games with Killer take a little bit longer than it did before, but that might be because of the MMR type matchmaking still lingering around.

It's been great so far. Queues are much faster, although sometimes I still get mismatching ranks in my games.

Nothing but good vibes from me.
- Quick queue times
- More people to play with
- Killers like Huntress and Nurse are actually a threat now
I love it!

Crossplay was a blessing. Queues are instant since it became a thing. Also, console players are a waaaaaaaaayyyyyy less sweatier than PC ones, so I can finally have fun with low tier killers again.
Console players also don't get access to the endgame chat so I don't have to read BS and deal with toxicity anymore.

It essentially ruined pc solo queue red rank survivor, but okay. Yes, a true god send.
I love not being able to play survivor without suffering.
Killer however has been awesome and stress-free. Easy 4ks, BP farming, insta-queue, and the best part is that you don't have to rely on teammates to hit skill checks or cleanse totems... or do gens... or loop the killer... or anything at all!

It's been pretty good all round for me. It's lovely going into matches knowing they aren't 4 stacks.

Must be nice for console survivors and PC but it feels pretty rough as a console Killer. I tend to go back and forth turning it on and off. In my head, PS4 only mode is now my safe space and I turn it on when I feel awake, undistracted, took a shower, put on pants, and I’m looking for a uphill fight.

Well there is your problem right there my friends "put on pants" you need tobstart free balling that #########, when your goose is loose all the worlds problems melt away

Even if I get facecamped every game and my teammates can't do anything, cross play is the best thing that has ever happened to dbd because I get to play with my friends and I asked out my bf in a dbd game. (I'm on PC, got friends on PS4, switch, and xb1).

I agree. The PC plebs are so easy to kill and are worthless teammates. But I think it will make us better survivors in the long run, having to carry more.

Thank you.. Red Rank solo queue is an absolute nightmare since crossplay got released.

Yeah I’m glad they added crossplay. Queue times are faster and surprisingly my matches have been more balanced.

mmr is no longer running matchmaking, it is back to rank based and is doing pretty good over all, problem is depends on how long it takes to find a matching killer/survivor group as it will expand it's search after a time as has been said by the devs many a time.
To me over all it's been better because of the speed to get games improved but some are becoming elitists and turning it off because they feel the other groups are crap.
