Are we ever going to get a colorblind mode?
You've heard the player base ask for it for literal years. The graphics updates you've been doing have made it harder and harder on colorblind players. It's long, long, long overdue. Can we please get an honest response other than "people might use it to cheat", "go buy an Nvidia card", or other nonsense? Or the trademark silence on the issue?
Many of us can't see scratch marks at all, or very poorly. Now foliage is getting even thicker, the new killer's point of view is in his ankles, Billy starts headbanging every time he finishes his chainsaw, and sound is bugged 90% of the time (again.)
I don't want to sound unappreciative of the work that gets put into the game, but this isn't exactly a new request (and its one that gets very thoroughly ignored,) making the game more and more unplayable with each update to a good chunk of your paying userbase.

I don't think we ever will, people have been asking for years. BHVR has screwed over colour blind people because it might give non colour blind an advantage. So yeah lets just ignore the problems of 10% of the population or what the percentage for colour blindess is.

Windows 10 has a few color blind options that work with Nvida and AMD.
ReShade, which is by far superior, also works with Nvidia and AMD.
FreeStyle is for Nvidia only and also has the added downside of having to install & use GeForce experience in order to use it.

Yeah that doesn't actually help with the issue at hand. Reshade can make a lot of games look better, but I wouldn't call it helpful with a game that keeps reducing luminosity. There are a LOT of degrees of colorblindness, between the main types and their subtypes. blanket filters tend to only really help more than they hurt in the most extreme cases of the main types, so blanket filters tend to be very poorly received vs individual element recolors. There isn't anything else to be said about it that already hasn't, which just makes it that much more frustrating that the game design seems to continue to worsen any of the methods colorblind players have been trying to adapt.

Don't want to sound too pessimistic but console players are waiting years for something so extremely basic like optimization so i would say it's extremely unlikely to expect a colorblind mode for quite some time.
I do however hope you guys get it sooner rather than later.

Doubt it. They have enough trouble already, and I can't see them adding more to it.
