Hex: Huntress Lullaby on Stealth Killers
A little while back, I was watching Puppers go up against a Killer using Huntress Lullaby and I realized something. Puppers often remarks that he has to pay a lot more attention to the game rather than his chat when Lullaby is active because otherwise he'll blow skill checks.
That's when it occurred to me that Hex: Huntress Lullaby is actually a pretty nasty perk to use with a stealth Killers like the Pig, Ghost Face, or even Myers. It can force Survivors doing gens to do the worst possible thing they can against a stealth killer: Split their attention. When I mentioned it to Puppers, he said that he'd never thought of it that way before.
Obviously this comes with the caveats of "Get enough stacks early enough to be useful" and "The Hex Totem doesn't get cleansed a minute in", but even a couple stacks would potentially get a stealth Killer what they're after, depending on the skill level of the Survivors.
I was curious if anyone had the same thought I had, or disagree or have some other view/idea I hadn't considered on this.

Never considered it on Pig for several reasons. Need other perks, Huntress' perks are meme at best or trash at worst, never cared for Huntress, and of course the most important factor:
It don't affect Jigsaw boxes.

You know, I wondered about that. So Lullaby doesn't affect the sounds of Jigsaw Box skill checks?
If so, that's too bad. Would have made those "skill checks happen more often addons" more help than what I'd think would be hindrance.

Yeah Lullaby and unnerving presence don’t affect Pig boxes, I assume they don’t affect Pyramid cages either. Bummer too it could be a silly build and get a few extra “deaths,” without the third hook

And that is EXACTLY why they don't do it. They fear it would make those add-ons too strong.

Really, too strong might be a bit of a stretch. It would catch you off guard once maybe, similar to how ill sometimes fail Overcharge the first time because I’m half paying attention then I focus.
Even against unnerving and lullaby I’d still take more skill checks to get the hat off faster

Yeah, I get it. It's not ideal, but it makes sense.

Let's see, I can use a super risky totem that makes skillchecks a little bit harder at 5 tokens.
Or, I can use a totem that lets me 1 shot and mori everyone at 5 tokens.
Hmmmmm......

Keep in mind the idea is that you don't necessarily need all 5 tokens, though obviously that's ideal. You just need enough that the survivors start paying more attention for skill checks, which takes away from the attention they would use keeping an eye out for whichever stealth Killer might be nearby.
At least that's how it works in theory. I haven't had enough opportunity to try it more seriously firsthand.
The idea isn't "Lullaby is better than whatever", just that "Lullaby seems like it works really well with this type of Killer"

True!!! The fact that Devour result kicks in at 3 stacks is amazing, like you said one shot vs slightly harder skill checks okay...

Fair point, plus it’s FUN sometimes too. I’ve had a couple builds focused around Lullaby and when they work you hear gens regressing left and right.
Obvioisly it pairs well with Dr, and I assume the extra penalty it gives to regression stacks with Overcharge but I’m not sure???
Its also fun to stack Lullaby and one of Freddys regression addons so when the survivors miss on purpose to wake up their gen eats an 21% penalty... bonus is you can actually trigger some failed checks by teleporting or faking a teleport and if they let go at the wrong time BOOM

Being a hex instantly makes it weak and likely taken out early in the match.
Plus with lullaby the moment they get a skill check they know you have it and one of them at the least will go hunt for it. I never babysit totems. Can't afford to.

Lullaby could work well with stealth killers as it would harder for survivors to pay attention to both their surroundings and skill checks. But getting 5 stacks before the hex is found and broken is tough.
Plus Devour Hope exists which gets you instant downs at 3 stacks and works great with stealth killers as they are already strong at getting the first hit.

Hence "Obviously this comes with the caveats of 'Get enough stacks early enough to be useful' and 'The Hex Totem doesn't get cleansed a minute in'"
Again, though, you don't necessarily need all five stacks. Just enough that any survivors not Totem-hunting need to split their attention between looking out for skill checks and looking out for you.
Depending on the skill/confidence level of the Survivor, just one stack could be enough.

That might have some validation if totem placements didn't suck 99% of the time. Indoor maps are the only ones where you might get some stall value searching for totems.
