I can’t disable cross-play (PS4)

The option to disable cross-play is greyed out so I can’t uncheck it. I’ve just dealt with it, but lately I’m getting so many red rank killers from other platforms that are just so toxic. Today I got the same rank1 killer 3 times. He does it all: Facecamp, tunnel, tunnel Mori after 1st hook.

Is there something I can do or something I’m not doing so that I can disable cross-play?
